I am at a point where I don't care anymore how haters are always trying to put down my country, one of the places with the most beautiful beaches on earth. Yes we have issues with all of the political nonsense, the State-sponsored gangs, the incompetent government not doing its job., all that leading to us always getting bad press on the international scene. No wonder Christopher Columbus named it Hispaniola,Little Spain, because the place was gorgeous. Real Haitians who know the @therealhaiti, as promoted by Diana Pierre-Louis, know that if you remove the bad apples who are giving our country a negative image, we would be again the Pearl of the Antilles, once the No 1 destination in the Caribbean. We will never bow down, we will never surrender. Like Naomi Osaka recently stated when she was visiting her country Haiti, "our ancestors' blood runs though our veins, we cannot allow ourselves to lose". We shall rise again.

I am Happy for you both guys. But I must say this: although the wedding took place in Haiti, there was no haitian touch. This was purely American. Have you seen african weddings on RU-vid, the costumes, and everything...Breathtaking!
Se Mwen really? What kind of Haitian touch should I have added apart from the Food, Music, Haitian violinist, everything being in creole and activities leading up to wedding. Africans have certain ways of dressing which is what really adds the flair. The outfits and music but what kind of Haitian outfits were u looking for lol ? It’s a wedding and I wanted a winter wonderland theme. I add plenty of Haitian culture on just about everything minus me having “costumes”. My souvenirs were Haitian rum bottles. Most if all Haitian weddings I’ve been to look like mine traditional white dress, and some sort of color theme unless they’re into voodoo in which they do things that way but I don’t do voodoo so I wasn’t going to include voodoo drums or costumes into my day.
