I never go to a hair dresser. My hair only started to grow when I started taking care of my hair myself. My hair grew halfway down my back when I stopped going to hair dressers over 30 years ago. I do everything you said except I do my own hair. I trim my hair every 6 weeks, and touch up my hair every 12 weeks. The more you trim the faster your hair grows.

Thanks for sharing your journey. You are tripping my dear. Your hair looks great. Your relaxed hair in the begging will be thin, once you wash and do your hair it won't be thin. I would suggest getting a roller set each time you go to the salon and it will be thick, the thinness will be a used to be. I was relaxed once and every visit I told my stylist I wanted a wash and roller set brought my hair wonders and nothing but growth. I didn't use the beveling curling irons and reduced the heat drastically. The only heat I used were the head dryer. Give it chance and stop flipping back & forth. Flipping back & forth only looses your path of focus from your future goal. Stay on course you'll be fine.
