Where can I order this powder? I want the Sandalwood & Rose. I'm a man so I like Sandalwood and I use rose scented shaving soap so that would work well together.
Hi! You can purchase all of our powders at www.herbandroot.com We have Sandalwood, Rose, Jasmine, Lavender, and Vanilla to choose from! We also have powder puffs!
Malarkey on the talc! Just because lawyers tried to sue and settled out of court doesn't mean that talc is bad for you. There had to be a lifetime study to actually prove that talc causes cervical cancer etc. It doesn't... and by the way the substitute nowadays for powder is actually chalk. People need to wake up. It cracks me up when I see here someone say vintage as if it's just something old and outdated. Things were better during my Mother's time on this planet. I buy dusting powder in a box. I remember my mom in the 1980's had a powder puff made of swans down. It was beautiful. She still uses powder and beautiful things that are harder to find these days because in the US people have lost a great deal of purchasing power. They're still out there. A light dusting not only gives the skin a nice look and keeps perspiration low, but if you a powder that has the same fragrance as your cologne you get a layered effect. Very nice
Talc doesn't cause cancer. But asbestos does. In areas where talc is mined, asbestos is often laced in the talc and the two are very difficult to separate because they look identical (white chalky powder). Because of this, some talc-containing powders might actually have asbestos in them. Johnson & Johnson's baby powder was tested by the FDA and was found to contain asbestos, and that is why the company has paid out $8.9 billion in lawsuits. There is evidence that they knew their talc powders contained asbestos since the 1970s.
For the massage oils, we have Vanilla, Cocoa, and Honey. For our dusting powders, we have Rose, Lavender, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. For our perfumes, we have many scents! Check out our website at herbandroot.com.
Yeah, the problem with talc is where it's mined it's usually co-mingled with asbestos, so it's very difficult to separate the two. That's why some products may have talc and zero asbestos, and some are full of asbestos. We try to steer clear of talc altogether for that reason.
I understand Talc is bad, but I don’t want companies to replace Talc for another harmful ingredient? Do you understand? So is this, or any other brands you can think of, will you list them? Thanks!
Understood! We replace the talc used in traditional powders with Arrowroot powder- a root plant that grows in the Caribbean and has been consumed for hundreds of years. Check out our powders at www.herbandroot.com

@@saraths6842 once again, learn about fragrances. What you call '' French fragrances'' are not JUST French, they are western fragrances,, and yes as a french, thank you for complimenting our perfumes but don't bash other fragrances because you don't like them. What you are talking about are the heavy oud fragrances, the oud attars, and yes they are heavy, but have you ever smelled a fruity oriental? An oriental floral? Something else than oud oils? Apparently nope, Orientals are much more than the heavy hitters and if you don't know it, don't talk about it, it makes you look ignorant. so don't talk out of stupidity, because you don't like something doesn't mean you have to be disrespectful towards it Have a good day
