Hi, thanks for video. I'm using the X-T4. I'm wondering whether to buy a Canon FF body or continue with the X-T5. The criticism about AF has cooled me down a bit, to be honest.
Um den Look endgültig zu faken hättest du die Bilder auch ins 3:4 Format packen können, denn das ist ja das Format einer Halbformat Film Kamera :) ansonsten cooles Video :)
Here's little tip so you can get the most out of your footage :) Use your conversion lut at the end of your node tree and make all your contrast and color corrections before the lut node. This allows you to continue working on your log profile before the lut is applied, otherwise you are limited to the color space of the lut.
Literally not possible, why do people make these stupid videos. Firstly its not the camera its the film... secondly you can only get closer you can never recreate analog chemistry with computing. Third you are way off bass with your claim about a crop sensor flagship and dof. This is such a braindead video, no one wants all the shit metering options they want the film look. I'm not suprised you shoot a fuji tbh, all the clueless kids do.
Yup! So many years ago, a photographer named Freeman Patterson showed (via film) the difference between keeping it on (outside) or not having it on. Even without direct sunlight, it did improve the contrast. I've used one all the time ever since.
@@TheNegativeSpacePhotographer - cool. When it comes to the arts, I'm a "snob". I pretty much only love the best. (But I never discourage people, everyone was not good to begin with!)
Love thr unique aspect ratio, a bit weird to watch on my 21:9 34" ultrawide, but i enjoyed it a lot on my ipad. Also i completely agree, lens hood stays on 99% of time. You earned yourself a subscription :)
That’s nice to hear 🙏 the next video will be in 16:9 or 17:9. the aspect ratio I want to film in is most of the time one of the first things I know. Thanks mate
I keep mine all my wide lenses but taking them off my telephotos makes such a difference carrying them around. The 100-400 and 200-600 hoods are quite big.
@@KishySou1597 My original nikon polarisation filters dont since they are the ones you can turn to change the effect. so it would not make sense to put a lenshood on a filter you would need to rotate specially with my wide angles.
@@willem2099 maybe look into a matte box if you want to carry it or carry a black piece of paper and hold it next to the lens. Did it sometimes when shooting on my fisheye lens :)
In all aspects (photo, video etc.) the vi is way better but at the time you may save some money when going for the v. It has no stabilization and a lower megapixel count but still a camera I would consider for some professional work. But if you want to get into video I recommend a camera with more options to rig it out or change lenses-> xt30 ii, xt50 or the xt4/5
Tks you for replying my msg. I just review the Xt5 and compare the x-h2 don’t know which bus the best choice, or may be you have experience review or use both camera and may be can recommended tks
It is the original lens hood that came in the box but it seems like no seller has it in stock at the time. My recommendation would be the square hood or the haoge lens hoods.
I hope that I’m not too late with my answer but take a look at Saul Leiter, Edward hopper etc. and try to Analyse their colors and another Tipp is watch many RU-vid videos. The technical aspects are easy to learn with tutorials for the software you are using. More important is the color theory. I did two follow up videos on color theory and t hopper, the photographic eye and Windsor are other RU-vid channels with extremely good content.
To be honest the best Lens to get first is the 35mm f2 or the 33 1.4. I want to get the 35 1.4 because of it’s Charakter but still keep the 35 f2 because the autofocus is better it’s smaller and weather sealed.
Give it 18 months then we will see massive reductions. More jobs loses are on the way and likely a stock market and real estate crash too. It will probably hit hard in the first half of 2025. They have produced more of this one and the chip shortages not so bad anymore so we will see. I think they FujiFilm as well as many other companies across the board will be forced to reduce prices when the recession really takes hold. I think we may likely also see Sigma, Panasonic and Ricoh bring out new advanced compacts with fixed focal lens or short zooms that will compete with the X100VI and likely take away some market share in this segment which will be good for all of us with more competition as that will also drive prices down.
There's no price deflation coming. Not when the wealthy own all the stocks/index funds and bonds. That's a 20th century paradigm. Ship has sailed. Money will continue to inflate.
Actually i can’t see this coming. The inflation is going on right now and we can be happy if the prices stay at the level we have. Fuji made some in my opinion bad decisions but I can’t see where it would impact their business. Those are more decisions I don’t like. But an interesting point let’s see what time does and what comes in the next few years.
That would be really nice. There was actually a great camera like this. The x10, x20 and x30 just imagine this camera with modern Processing units and a 1“ sensor!!! 🔥
That’s a decent set really nice. I’ve shot for a long time on 24 and 50mm on my canon full frame cameras due to not many 28 mm options available for the EF mount but when I switched to Fuji I started Shooting on 28 and 50 mm equivalent fov’s later I went to 28 and 40 mm fov’s
Er, on an APSC camera with a 1.5 factor (such as Fujifilm), 28mm is the equivalent of 42mm on 35mm and 40mm is 60mm. On a 1.6 factor camera (such as Canon) 28mm is indeed 45mm but 40mm is 64mm.
On my Fuji the crop factor is 1.51 wich translates to a 40,77 mm lens. Like I said 40MM equivalent fov. A 28 on the other hand becomes a 42,28. when I’m talking about focal lengths I’m referring to the full frame equivalents when talking about 40 mm lenses I mean 40 mm and everything that translates to that fov on other systems and crops. My most favorite focal lengths are 28 and 40 mm (on my Fuji 18 and 27) I hope that helps you with the little misunderstanding.
Actually that sounds interesting! Would be a 40 equivalent as well. The thing that interests me about MFT is actually the aspect ratio of 4:3 wich sounds like something I need to try.
Didn't do it for me. I always get too much or too little in frame with the 40mm. It sounded like a good option but for me its too tight for sceneries and landscape and too wide for subject photography. Im glad you like but different strokes for different folks I guess.
Owned every sensor size, I agree... APS-C is like this sweet spot but there is still a ridiculous stigma that somehow it is not enough when FF exists. A friend of mine had no idea my recent transition to Fuji meant I 'downgraded' from FF to APS-C, yet he liked and loved everything that APS-C sensor was doing (he still thought it was FF).
