Such an elegant and natural attacking left handed batsman...... technically very sound..... His cover drives, straight drives treat to watch... sad that he was in and out of national squad not the regular member of the squad..... Enjoyed his batting than anyone's else❤ .....I wish Vinod sir a good Health...,.May God Bless him and his family 🙏🌷

Kambli was great to watch in full flow, toast of Bombay's rich cricketing legacy. Had the talent to reach greatness, but sadly, things fell apart, and he is now a broken man who could have achieved so much. Failed marriages destroyed his career. Lost his family and grounding due to his marriages outside of his background. Couldn't maintain his flashy lifestyle due to being out of work. Thanks for watching and your comments on Vinod Ganpatrao Kambli.

We only see one side. The wicker keeper kept irritating the batsman with unwanted talks when Sachin was bowling. Is it morally fair ?

Javed Miandad was a notorious sledger. He would try to divert the concentration of the best of batsmen while fielding. Kiran More was the apt adversary for a crafty dealer like Miandad. On that day, Javed was standing between Victory and India, More did what every keeper was supposed to, spoil the batsman's concentration and try to get him out. More came out victorious this time. Kudos to Kiran More.

Kambli looked good when he batted, but his technique was vulnerable. He needed luck to play his strokes, and yeah his strokes looked much better than Tendulkar, Jadeja, and Azharuddin combined. But international cricket is a wicked arena, bowlers bisect batsmen's techniques and Kambli was found wanting in footwork and quality pace bowling. He wasn't as good as Tendulkar, if he was he would have had a longer career.

Chika Sir Excellent. You love Vishy and Sunny as well. You school time Hero was Vishy as you have yourself said once. Both Sunny and Vishy were peerless Pillars of the Indian team. The Era both of them played was very difficult and no comparison to be made to them in this Modern Cricket. Cricket in those days was cricket was not commercial it was real and genuine game of gentlemen and both of them loved the game without an any anticipation. Both true lovers of artistry. Hats off to both little genes. Rgds Kashi Vishwanathan

Thank you very much for appreciating my writing. By mistak I typed Gentlemen instead of Gentleman's Game sorry for the typographical error. Cricket in their Era was a genuine game. Now this has become a business. It used to true fight between the sides. I still remember in vishy and sunny's era there used to be only two umpires in the field one is the leg umpire and the other one who stand opp to batsman facing a bowler. You will have to leave the field once the umpire raises his hands giving out whethe the decision is correct or not God only knows. Regards Kashi Vishwanathan
