Do you mean academic assignments or published research papers? If you mean published research, you need to adhere to academic standards and present your papers to academic journals. If you are attached to an educational institution, it helps. Speak to your course director to find out more.
@@EnglishRich Yes, published research papers. Do you have videos to guide me on coming up with topics, writing and publishing on journals as an aspiring academic?
@@solomonwrites That's quite a specialist subject which is less to do with English and more to do with academic skills. Although I do teach academic skills, normally it's restricted to research and writing academic papers. When it comes to publishing, I can't yet offer a great deal of advice. The first place to ask would be to ask someone who has published research at your institution, or contact the journals themselves.
Yesterday's class was fantastic. And the most exciting part for me is that when you bring your books and read them to us, especially the story, I love hearing stories, I'm quite interested in them. Please read more, teacher Rich! Thank you so much! ✨️🙏🫠😊❤ Have a lovely day.
Hello sir, in the part 34:41, "How does this affect learning English?" I think it is an example of reduced present participle clause. So what will be the full clause for this sentence? These could be possible, but I am not sure. 1) How does this affect while you are/ someone is learning English? 2) How does this affect by learning English? Can the infinitive 'To' be used instead of 'ing'? How does this affect to learn English?
@@dan93431 It's not a reduced participle clause here, Dan. 'Learning English' is just a noun using to represent the process of the acquisition of English through study or practice.
I have no idea if my English is good or bad. I only know that for a week i have been talking with the people, for order, take photos, address and so on. In three different countries. the outcomes ...fantastic. Nobody understood my words.
Teacher Rich, I didn't know about this fantastic live lesson 😢😓 I don't like to watch later always 😢 But its my fault. Anyways! Thanks a lot teacher as well. Have a good day✨️❤️😊🙏🌸

Perfect Rich! You're an awesome English teacher. You explain more complicated things in simple ways, which is fantastic May God bless you 🙏 Rich, may you ask you this question: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN: 1. salary vs stipend? 2. Intensive vs. allowance 3. And others? Much appreciated 🙏

Thank you for checking my homework, teacher Rich! And today for the first time I wasn't nervous when you were checking my homework. You're the best teacher! I love learning from you!🌸🙏😊❤️🙌 I hope you'll always teach us. I'm so grateful to you! Have a lovely day, teacher!🫡🙌
Just to finish this discussion, sorry to say, but you was not correct regarding a confession if the villain: “The other, however, rebuking him, said in reply, "Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? 41 And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes,”… Btw there are many protestants, who happily converted to the Mother Catholic Church, such as G.K. Chesterton, after studying it deeply
I think this theological discussion is something beyond me, Alex. What we can both agree on is that understanding can be reached through prayer, studying the Bible and revealed through The Holy Spirit.
@@EnglishRich Yes, it’s not a religious channel, but I couldn’t leave it without the Bible quoting) Thank you for your enthusiasm a lot! Hope that you’ll return an IELTS test part… at least for a single part to be able several students to try🙏
Vision is a more broader imaginary picture of how the future looks. Mission is a more tightly defined set of principles which the school follows or aims towards.
@EnglishRich wow, well explained You're a very good English teacher ( 👏). Honestly, I'm a Sudanese primary school teacher who works in Combonian schools( Catholic church ⛪️), and recently, I have opened an English center ( English Learning Centre). So if you don't mind, may I ask you next time in a live-stream lesson the same question? Seeing you explaining things in online English class is fantastic. Thanks in advance ❤️
Hi Rich, can the preposition "Against" be used in the following sentence? This was a first step towards/against a United Europe. "Step towards something" is a correct phrase though. Another question I know the word "Racist" is followed by the preposition 'To' and 'Towards', but can I use the preposition 'against'? For instance she is so racist to/towards/against her friends.
No, you can't have a step against. It'd be a 'step away from', or a 'step back from'. Yes, you can use 'against' with that phrase. Actually, it's the most common preposition with that verb.
Dear ProfRich, I see you as a person who is not a populist in teaching. I dont think that Socrates would have many supporters/subscribes in our time. May the Fource bee with you on your way! I wish you this!
This class was quite challenging for me, teacher, I just understand a little bit, and I need to watch it again after I finish my exams. As always, thank you very much, ProfRich for teaching. Have a lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely week! 😅🌸✨️🙏❤️ Keep teaching us, Boss! 🫡
It's a prestigious intensive English for Academic Purposes course which is equivalent to about a .5 bump in IELTS across the board for every 8 weeks of the course. Most UK universities run one for students who need to brush up on study skills or didn't quite reach the IELTS prereq.
@EnglishRich Perfect! Thanks a lot for your kind help and nice explanation, I do appreciate it. You're a great English teacher. 👏 and from you, we learn a lot ❤️
@EnglishRich Rich? May I ask another important question, which is about the notetaking method and presenting seminars? Are these things included in the course? And what else?
I'm not quite sure I understand this question. Do you mean is Cornell note taking a necessary part of a presessional English course? The answer is no, but personally I do teach it.
@EnglishRich I do apologize for my confused question ( not clear)! I was saying that students at universities take notes a lot during lectures, so my question is, do you teach them( learners)the art of taking notes in pre-sessional English courses?
I am short of time and I'm forgeting many daily duties, one of them is being in your lessons alive. Anyway: present. I wish you the very best. Prof Rich.
