I wish this was our only issue. Unit Stopped working, found broken wires inside handle, very poor construction on the electrical side, surprised nobody was shocked by it.
I placed an order for a wand waited patiently and upon arrival I opened the box to see that it was the international version and not the 110V version I wanted. Called the number several times to be told the Google voice subscriber was not available. Another number just played music then went to voicemail. Then some guy calls me telling me he is a representative for the company and he is calling from overseas. Now I have to call my credit card company to get my money back as no one has responded to my emails nor answers the phone and strange people are calling from other countries.
I just bought this system and the middle of the wand isn’t sealing and it’s super stringing and tearing as I have the biodegradable roll and I’m quite frustrated as first my heat gun started smoking and then I realized I never received the mat that goes under the silicone mat and then the wand not heating in the center
Hi, I am interested in buying your system. But, I am not sure what type of film material to choose. What’s the film you used in the video? It seems that material may be appropriate for my needs since I will be using it for electronics. If you have any recommendation, feel free to share. Thanks!
I've been looking into your website and I wanted to buy one of your systems and I wanted to know if you have any video demonstrations on how to shrinkwrap your dome bags that are available on your website. This would be very helpful to me. Thank you!
Sorry about the issue. You can order online at www.nationalshrinkwrap.com/shrink-systems-supplies.html (brand new website coming soon:) or you can call 732.942.4554 or email us info@nationalshrinkwrap.com
This is cool but completely unhealthy as all the plastic particles will be released into the brownie, under heat. You're literally feeding people micro-plastics. I'll have to look for a different packaging method, probably based on actual paper, not plastic.
can you use wrap from uline with this wand? I bought from there and doesn't seem to work very well? But the film that came with it still works great. both are 60 gauge but the line stuff it just a bit thicker but you film looks really heavy
www.nationalshrinkwrap.com, and you want to use 60 gauge soft-shrink polyolefin..it's FDA approved for direct food contact, and is a preferential shrink, which means it stops trying to shrink when it encounters resistance, so you can wrap many of your more delicate items without shmushing them!
Same as is the large box video. With a 24" system and roll of film, you can wrap a mounted poster/photo up to 47" wide and as long as you want. Thicker frames reduce that capability. With the 30" system, you can go up to 5' wide.
18" system is 349.95 incl. a 500' roll of standard film. 24" system is 399.95 w/500' roll. Film type depends on what you will be wrapping. Anything from 60 gauge for lightweight materials to 100 gauge for heavy, bulky and shaped items and bundles.
I really hope you can upload a video showing the difference between removing the film. I know pvc is very hard to remove with hand!. So i was wondering does the other 2 can be torn with hands? Are they like retail in store like tea box or sealed box of electronics? The type i’m looking for is when it’s shrunk and once is torn with hand it peels like paper and not a whole chunk like pvc!. What type is that?
Those are not wrapped with shrink film....those are wrapped by a fold-and-glue method, like a DVD or pack of cigarettes, using polyethylene...where the film is folded around the package (like cigarettes) and glued into place. Much neater than shrink...and the machinery costs (literally!) about 100 times as much.
Sorry..we know the sound is annoyiong and we will re-shoot this prehistoric old video one day, but if you have the system, tbh, you don't need the sound..just note the technique..
