I'm a Digital Nomad original from the UK which I left in May 2021. I consider home base as Canggu in Bali but I'm often traveling and exploring new places
This channel is a place to document my travels around the world.
I aim to inspire other to travel and see the world and provide useful information and tips along the way.
I enjoy creating cool visuals and I aim to get under the skin and really explore each of a place that i visit.
I have a passion for music so I'll attempt to infuse that passion into the content i create.
Awesome video! The background music is superb. I will be a week in Bali in November and of course I want to do the tour to Nusa Penida. How much was the tour with private driver? Did you meet the driver when you arrived to Nusa Penida? How did you hire the driver? I was planning to rent a car in Bali for the week. Did you drive there?
Hi Sorry for the slow reply! I went with a company called MS nusa penida tour & travel. It was 900k for 1 person with private driver but that was April 2022. You catch a boat from Sanur and meet the driver on the other side.
You'll need to get an international driving license/ permit. Not so much to hire the bike but if the police stop you they will use it as an excuse to issue a fine. It's pretty easy, cheap and quick to get online though.
Hello there 😊I’m not familiar with driving in Bali or other country do you think it’s possible to find a driver for a scooter ? Where je can take me wherever I want ..
Cool video. Will be looking to book something pretty much the same. Couple of questions... How long did you get to stay at each place? Some of those walks down to the beaches look like they'll eat up time. Did it feel a bit rushed at all? And did you have to get yourself to Sanur and meet the tour company guy there or were you picked up from wherever you were staying? Cheers :)
Cheers. Yeah I had to get myself to the Sanur boat departure place . It was about 45 mins - 1 hour in each place. I didn't feel rushed but I was mainly focused on getting content ... not much time to chill.
do I need motorcycle driver license to drive a motor in Bali because in my country I have a car driver license ONLY and I turn it to International . CAN IT DO THE JOB 😁
Here is what i suspect mate: if you are stopped by the police they will ask for the international drivers licence and look to see if the motorbike section is included. If it isn't you will get a fine. 500k at a Guess, hope that helps.
Thanks. After this video I did the whole of the WHW the following year. My advice would be to take your time if you can. I rushed it and so couldn't take in the scenery too much.
It's really not bad actually. They usually have specific check points like on the way into Canggu or Ubud. The only reason you would be stopped and checked is if you don't have a helmet on, no tshirt on etc. Not sure if you have been to Thailand but they will stop you for no reason at check points and find a reason to fine you if they can...this is not the case in Bali from my experience.
haha fantastic, I just refreshed before I seen your comment and thought "I wonder if I have hit 300"..Thanks for subscribing and thanks yes, I will, super motivated!
Haha I adore the way you made the beach look good still though it's rainy season. Most of the times I gave up filming the beach during this time. How lovely you did make it more of a local experience than a typical tourist's. Most of these things are what I do everyday by myself and never get bored of. If you come back next year in spring or summer, a ride up to Monkey mountain (Son Tra mountain) for sunset will give you a thrill. Really enjoyed listening to your accent the whole show lol I miss the accent haha
Thankyou for your comment, the fact it was rainy season was certainly a challenge with getting the timings right to film. I will definitely return in the busy season as I would like to see what Da nang is like at that time and also pick up some of the spots I missed....I love a good sunset so that sounds good, thanks for the tip 🙏
@@tuanphan7261 Ha, I'm sorry dude. It didn't make the final edit, the camera work was shaky and your head was not in shot + The bike was different to the one I used (the orange one) so it wouldn't have made sense.
