By the halfway point I was hoping the light never turns green and it was all a big prank. That would've been cool, just an entire video of them revving their engines while literally nothing else happens.

My dash doesn't even come on. I have power and I can turn the key all the way but nothing happens when I do. Used keyfob to unlock and manually locked it such no luck here.
There’s a workshop manual on these compressors and a book for diagnosing compressor problems. Ultimately if you got junk in the discharge screen or black oil coming out the bottom drain plug it’s done. Don’t even need to run the unit to check that.
This just happened to me about 3 days ago. Returned to van from Walmart, service theft deterrent system. I tried starting 4or 6 time and started . Battery wasn't low , so I'm puzzled why this happened.

@@phoenix6209 if that still happens check the belts they should have a little give but not flapping around while running. One of the fans might be going bad. I suggest taking it to a Carrier dealer.
