Talking about a message in a shirt, you didn't even mention the representation of the whole province in the print of the Groningen shirt. So imagine what you would say about the Gronings ontzet shirt. A little bit of background research would be nice
Hi, I get your comment. But I judge the shirts by just looking at them and giving my oppinoin about them based on tje k formation I already know. Could do aome research but that takes away some of my "first impression" to be honnest. It's not meant to disrespect the historical event, just my short knowledge of some events.
That away shirt looks bang on! Its also amazing what bargains you can find in a charity shop. Im definitely interested in another video about spotting fake shirts 👍
Hey Jory. It's a bit cheeky considering the two Feyenoord shirts are almost identical. On the other hand, they do both look very cool. Iconic design so there can't be too many complaints. Love seeing the Gers shirt in the background :)) Looks like we're getting Kasanwirjo for at least the season. Let's see. Greetings :)
Haha yeah a bit of a lazy design thb. Kasanwirjo is a talent and need time and playing time. Dessers is quit good for you right so Feyenoord always delivers... 😅
@@jorysfootballshirtcollection Indeed. Dessers with 5 in 6 so far. He looks sharper. Never saw that coming. He's been a divisive player so far but he's such a nice guy, always with a smile, and he loves to fight for the shirt so I'm happy he's still with us. Plus, he speaks more eloquently than any of the native speakers (Tom Lawrence, anyone?). Now that Kasanwirjo's in, I'm looking forward to seeing what he's about. Good luck with Feyenoord this season!!
this might sound like a stupid question but if I have an expensive football shirt that’s long sleeved but the player on the back never wore long sleeve shirts does it affect the value
Oh no not really. Long sleeved shirts alre always more valuble than short sleeved ones even if the player never wore long sleves. Accept for when yours is supposed to be match worn 😅
Glad you've tried at least 😅 if you have any suggestions that would tempt you away from "the spreadsheet" let me know 😊 Ps having all the Ipswich templates would be amazing. And i agree, London isn't a great place to hunt for shirts.
@jorysfootballshirtcollection that's good. For this season just the home so far. But as the database is community lead any shirts missing can be submitted to the database. I add a lot myself but there are just so many 😅
Thanks mate first of all. And yes, you can find them online. There are a lot of organizations that host these markets at diffrent places. So just follow them and wait till they host one near you is what I would do.
Yeah they where either fake, damaged or I just didn't like them. Or a combination of those. I was dissapointing for me too because I thought I hit the jackpot there.
I would imagine that there're several fans of clubs that would collect scarves from cup finals (especially those that their club ended up winning), so I'd suggest you keep buying them to resell 🙂
Hi, if that tag says Adidas jsy when it's a Real Madrid shirt for example, it's a fake. The tag should give a reference to the club and whether it's a home or away shirt
I could try. But (since I live in the Netherlands) a lot of the shirts that are donated to chairty shops and are sold at fleamarkets and carboots are from Dutch clubs. I have to admit shirt one had a lot of Dutch clubs, but my previous video features just 2 out of the 7 or 8 I picked up. It depends on the markets, locations and sellers, but chances of finding a dutch club shirt are just way higher because I live in the Netherlands.
Although I liked the "designed by a blind man" rating, I find it nice and refreshing that you change the rating statuses up once in a while 👍 I also like the fact that it is a six tier list, which makes it impossible to give it an "average" score, it is either slightly more or slightly less than average ❤
I bought a roma shirt years ago that was very much like the blue shirt material. It looked good back then when i was young and slim, couldnt wear a shirt like that now 😂
With some you can tell by the way they look and feel. For others I checkout the productcodes and stylenumbers in the shirts (I made some video's about how you can do that, but there are other vieeo's about this subject too). For older shirts I try to compare pictures. The more you do it the better and faster you become.
@jorysfootballshirtcollection thank you I will definitely check it out. We don't sell a crazy amount of football shirts be still a decent number over the year
No me neither, but there where like 500-700 stands and a lot of "proffecional" (vintage) sellers. It's called the IJ-hallen and this outdoors market is like 2-3 times a year.
