From a great game show contestant to an inspired metalwork artist in the Trek universe, Ms. Maggie Schpak was truly out of this world. I've always enjoyed her presence and energy on her episodes of "Whew!" and "Press Your Luck".
Time traveler Wesley FTW! I loved the inclusion of the Boreth crystals...those little details... Anyways, let's get timey wimey and go for it! They went for it and pulled out all stops and it worked! Loved the kiddos at the end...so sweet!! Thanks @RoddenberryEntertainment @ohtheprofanity @drakkorex @Aaron Waltke for these chats! ❤💛💙🤓🖖🏾
So great having @Aaron Waltke on! Thank you Marina for bringing up the Langoliers (Stephen King), I had brought that up several times in chat in the past and it seemed the Loom was related to them...feeding on the past and so friggin scary!! Brilliant having Wesley be THE key, tapping into some Doctor Who timey-wimey stuff!! Anyways, being a MI guy, it's great getting to know Aaron (Go Hoosiers!) we midwest guys have to stick together! Glad you enjoyed that pizza and thanks for responding to my Facebook post and coming on Mission Log! Be well! ❤️💛💙🤓🖖🏾
Like so many others, Star Trek has been in my life for as long as I can remember. However, I was born in 1984, and yet I can still remember Tasha Yarr dying in the first season episode "Skin of Evil." I was three years old! Not many other moments in pop culture can imprint on a kid that young, but that moment acts as a marker for just how long I have been watching and loving Star Trek.
Sometimes the mail order bride system was more the equivalent of modern dating apps rather than trafficking. In New Orleans, the Ursuline nuns were in charge of the mail order brides until they married. Most of the ladies came because they believed it would be better here than the poverty they came from. The only way it is not icky is when there are a period of letters or system (like living with the nuns) that allows the couple to get to know each other first. FYI the brides were called casket girls because they came with a small trunk called a cassette in French.
I agree it is ick to pair a 40 year old and a 17 year old, but your comment @49:00 that no one should be paired with someone with a job violent enough they might not come home is a bit of a disservice to all military spouses. While not an ideal situation, sometimes it is just a fact.
Roddenberry couldn't imagine how dumb people would become, or how uncomprehending and unprincipled film professionals could become. This channel is misusing his memory.
This show was first run when my mother was a teenager. On your Uncle Roy seems young perspective, my mom had a first cousin (parents were siblings born only a few years apart) who was only 5 months older than me. When there are large families, it is not unusual for the youngest to be near the age of nieces and nephews born to the eldest, My great-grandparents had 14 kids, the 10 of which reach adulthood had a 23 year span between them.
I love Star Trek, animation, Lower Decks and Prodigy. I would love to see a Lower Decks/ Prodigy crossover episode, with a two-parter: an episode where LD is animated in a Prodigy style, and Prodigy is animated in a Lower Decks style.
First all, thank you SO much for this video. I was lucky enough to win one of the previous table offering and am definitely looking forward to the next offering.
Just came here after watching Prodigy season 2 and looking for who was behind Time Mechanics 101 and I can only say this: We're in such good hands science-wise with Dr. Erin MacDonald.
