I have the grey field with black and white points. I ended up swapping out the checkers with some FM Gammon red and orange color. Much better than black and white.
@michaelkaybecker yes they are. They are really nice butI have to say, though, I think I prefer the acrylic checkers to the metal rimmed ones. The metal rimmed ones feel heavy and a bit awkward.
The lens sits on the outer wooden frame and there is a centre post to support the middle of the lens. If you go to the point in the video where the lens is off and you can see the inside of the “window” you will see wha to am talking about (1:19 in the video).
Yes you could, the reason I went this route is when I started the project I looked for the lenses on Amazon and found them to be very expensive, like $20CAD for a 7” lens.
Great video. You mentioned for those that don’t want to cut into the stock transducer cable, the transducer audio cable end is available on Amazon. I can’t seem to find it. Can you point me in the right direction?
Hello, sorry for the delayed response. I have been trying to find that connector for you but can’t remember what it’s called or where I have found it. I started a Reddit thread to see if someone can help us track it down. Follow along with the link and hopefully someone can help us out. www.reddit.com/r/LegendsUltimate/comments/103b1yv/pinball_control_panel_exciter_connector/?
@@the_realJAMESI think that is the one, someone answered on Reddit as well. All this information is good to have at hand, I should probably add that in the description. Thanks for the help!
@@michaelkaybecker oh wait I think that someone was me on Reddit lol. 😬 I will say though that I asked in the atgames FB group and a member recommended the link that I posted on Reddit. Thanks again for this vid! I have the exciters being delivered tomorrow!
Any consideration to your 4-ohm exciters you have run in parallel on an amp that may not be 2 ohm stable? I'm no expert, but I'd run them in series for 8 ohm. You'll have less overall power, but I think it would be better for that cheap amp and less likely to burn up. Also, is that sound output you mentioned in the begging of the video high level or low level? I see you have wired it to a low level input. If it's not, I'd get an amp with high level inputs or get an adapter.
Yah dude more of these videos! Love the ollie up on the box and kickflip off. I can boardslide easily on a skateboard, hesitant to try it on my snowskate but going to soon
Thanks for the comment. I’m finding snow skating a lot harder then Skateboarding, so much harder to keep control of it. Board slides are scary on this thing.
@@michaelkaybecker yeah I imagine, looks prone to the board sliding out super fast and whipping you back it you are leaning even slightly too far back, rollerskate style
