I live with percussionists who don't know how to play, unfortunately. Though I can't blame them, they're my younger brothers and dont know anything about music theory.
no bc i am a percussionist for a school band and our teacher always yelled at us for being too loud, then proceeded to ask us why we were so quiet. she would also do the up and down hand motions to tell us about our volume, and we never got a break 💀
I play trombone and I never really had much trouble with the play-whenever-and-hit-everyone thing, but as I got into upper high school and a bunch of younger trombonist started to join the band *yeah that was bad* It takes a sense of discipline to weild a trombone and let's just say 7th grade boys are not the kids to ask for that discipline LMAO
As a French horn player, this is quite accurate towards hornists. It is DIFFICULT to play the right note. You can either play high, low, or make 0 noise.
Every single time my friends have asked to move my slide or play my trombone (happens so often) I either get smacked with the slide or they ram the slide into first and shatter my teeth!!😂
As a French horn player, you have called me out so hard 😭 I had such a bad habit of not being able to play the right starting note in jr high it was honestly sad
as a trombone player who sat next to the worst trombone player for like, three months, i can guarantee that that is exactly what he acted and sounded like :] 👍
as a french horn player, this is 110% accurate. plus there are only 2 of us and NEVER get the first note correct. it sucks being the french horn and the band director forgetting you’re there.
literally. theres 3 in my band at the moment and we all need to hear the first note before playing. plus the other two horn players are leaving so now itll just be me :,)
