The house is nice but quite old. Actually I search since month for a House to rent for long term. There is a kind of gold digging with renting and selling old Villas for incredible high prices. It's quite costly to maintain an old house in Thailand because the structure gets worse from year to year. The Humidity in Thailand is like termites eating every rainy season a little bit more from your house. It's my opinion but investing in a house in Thailand isn't a good idea. Rent it and take care of your assets with good interest investments.
Been looking at pool villas in Hua Hin for about a year now. They run between 7 and 10 million for ones that looks like this. The difference seems to be in the size of the yard and the distance from the beach.
There must be something wrong if the owner is so desperate to sell it. The house looks not bad at all but there must be something of the land next to it I assume. It looks like it is breaking off.
