My first ever video was made on Instagram which only allows 60 seconds of film, hence why I made this RU-vid channel. I will try to not ramble so you don't have to ffw and I'll try to keep my videos less than 20 minutes. I will be posting fun and informational videos on all kinds of different crafts. Feel free to ask me any questions about the crafts I’m doing. My hope is to show my works, help others by doing tips and tricks, and to inspire people to keep crafting. I will try to post links for the products I use but I am in no way affiliated or sponsored by any company I reference. I am a cosmetologist full time (most of my videos are filmed on days off, so don't judge LOL) and I am a crafter by night.
@@Marian514 I would suggest making sure the settings and shortcuts are correct for how you like it. Even if you don’t have a double tap shortcut to park, it should allow you to park when you have just one stitch highlighted. I don’t know a fix if neither of these ideas help, sorry.
It wasn't that out of focus. I appreciate your concerns but the technique did not require sharp focusing. Colors are beautiful. I liked the 2nd technique the best.
Hey ladies, i am from NC too, but from the Eastern part, I have been to Outer Banks, I dont live too far from there. What is your sister's youtube channel? I would love to follow her too :)
Yes we’re in the mountains and always when we went to the beach we would go to Hilton Head, SC. I’d like to make a trip to the Outer Banks sometime! Her channel is Chari Moss. She has papercrafting and FlossTube.
@@SassyStaci Oh i am sure Hilton Head is a straight shot for you guys being on the Western part of the state. I hope to make it Asheville this year, I would to see the stained glass display at the Biltmore if so, then I holla at yall so we could meet up. thanks for sharing and also taking the time to reply.
I have been waiting for your video, great seeing you two again! Daughters of the deep , the Strawberry House and the Sheep Virtues are so beautiful! Staci , you are hilarious : I have the same problems with my eyesight and the magnifier and the table and everything, so when you told about it I felt that I am not alone in my series of consequences when I start stitching on a smaller count. Happy stitching for both of you!
Snowball effect on the whole move the table, move the rug, move the pin, move the wall… 😂. That 40ct linen that’s actually shrunk a tiny bit smaller because I put the fabric in boiling water to remove some of the darkness is killing my eyes! Thank you for watching and for waiting 😬
OH NO! Sadly I won't be at the Sassy Jack's Class 😕(much to my dismay I am out of town for a stitchy weekend). I am going to the same class in South Dakota, with my stitchy friends. I was sad I was going to miss out on the class close to me but I'm kind of excited about being able to go to class with my friends. Me and my husband are going to make a vacation of it and explore South Dakota! I do hope that Cathy comes back to Sassy Jack's again for a class so I don't have to travel so far 🤣
Thank you. Your explanation of how to move in either straight or diagonal directions was very helpful. I have watched many of the videos to learn how to do a full coverage and no one else started from this perspective. It was very helpful.
Tucker is getting big!!! So so cute!!! Thank you for showing him in your video. Your dying of your own fabric is amazing and looks to rival the ones you can buy from stores!! Love your flosstubes!!
Wow, I did not know where frog is coming from. Anyway, as an Eastern European, I have only recently looked up on the net some of these words, like LNS and orts. And I was also curious if a native English speaker would know straight away what a needle minder means, so that was quite an interesting video for me, not only very funny. Thanks for posting this video! Happy stitching, both of you!
Oh my holy heck, you four (plus Tucker and Scout) are a riot and ort to create more videos! I’m going to quiz my hubby to see if he uses his creative reasoning skills as well as your fellas did😂
Love the tutorial, thank you! I have a question. I manually typed in my DMC colors and when i finished I made a mistake and duplicated two sympols the same color. Can I change the symbol color. I didn't see an edit button.
Sorry I’m just now responding. If you go to the menu for that pattern on the Home Screen (where all your patterns are listed) there is an option for “edit legend”. You can change your DMC numbers here. It is a possibility however that Pattern Keeper did not recognize the difference between the two symbols and therefore automatically put the same DMC number on the two symbols. It may not have been your mistake. If this is the case, then there is no way to fix it.
Love the what u think having a yorkie is like versus reality segment. Feel like that could go for kids, husbands, etc. lol. Thanks for another great video. I am really enjoying the videos that you and your sister have been putting out…talented family!!
Tucker is SO adorable! I just discovered your FT and apologize if this has been asked and answered before (I’m watching from the beginning!), but how do you determine the number of stitches during the time that you were stitching, do you measure from the chart or? I want to start a project journal.
Ha. Thank you so much for your interest in my channel and my stats! Yes I stitch an area of a chart that would be easy to count, then I add up the stitches by looking at the 10x10 chart. If I have a copy of the chart, I will highlight it to death to help me be able to easier count. Some online charts (like Awesome Pattern Studio, which you will see me stitch) will show how many stitches there are of each color. And some charts (like the Ink Circles mandala that I did a quarter of in this video) tell the total number of stitches and I do an even portion of the total. I hope this answered your question. Thank you for watching, especially from the beginning!
@@SassyStaci your answer totally makes sense, thank you. Now I’m anxious to hear how/when/why, you decided to ‘park’ (I think that’s what it is called) as in the early FT you were saying ‘I probably won’t ever or something like that’! I’ve always said that too…but I’m a ‘never say never’ kinda person so I’m open to the idea if it is efficient. At a glance it looks cray cray. I’ll stay tuned and see what happens🤣
@@krafty_kay_jay Yes I probably did say that early on but I do very large projects that require parking now. Here is a video on parking… ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AUC8dajtFdA.htmlsi=DOdycpRwFWBPsWv1
Tucker is absolutely adorable! I just discovered you and Chari and I am thrilled as my besties don’t stitch, I feel like I have friends now…oh holy heck, that sounds creepy😬
@@SassyStaci I love to stitch ALL of the things! Heirloom stockings, LOTS of Mill Hill, SEVERAL Dimension kits and currently I’m struggling through completing the 2004 JanLynn Seasonal Samplers. I recently returned to stitching and I am SO excited to build a stash of new fabrics and threads, but it will be a while. I am obsessed with finishing the samplers first though as I promised my Mom/Aunt/Grandma that I would. They were all stitchers and I want to honor them. It is ROUGH though with all of the backstitching and 1/2 stitches😳
Tucker is so adorable! Ooo good choice on fabric for the snow queen. Can't wait to see that done on that favric! Love Stacy's map that she is stitching, lol. Cute finish, Chari!
OMG!!Tucker looks so much like our first Yorkie Paxton. Thank you for sharing!! My mother passed away in 2018 and I inherited all her Nora Corbett patterns with beads and all those speciality threads. I look at them and think if I started one I’d be stitching forever!! She bought fairies and angels. Love your video
