For whatever reason Husets doesn't draw a big crowd for Super Late Models nowadays. IDK why. You'd figure anytime a top division came to town it should fill up, but seems like they just don't like Late Models as much as 410s or 360s.
@@haiwin224 I don't know anything about this venue, speaking more in general that all the big late model races that are shown here on youtube have poor attendance, I don't know how they pay these big purses, must have some big sugar daddies backing em?
Seems like more deck width out from the driver's shoulder bar and the front door bar to the left vertical door surface than in years past. Safety, probably. Certain the driver's seat area hasn't been shifted closer to the trans/driveshaft. I remember our rocket had 2 or 2.5 inches from shoulder bar to door drop. Due to manufacturer, perhaps?
The regulars at Husets are those “sprint cars are better” kind of people. But it may be less subjective than i think because there also seems to be plenty of late model drivers who don’t like the track either. It’s sad either way
