I love this. My Go to video when ever I need to draw in my manifestations sooner. I am magnetically drawn to Gods goodness. I am mentally physically emotionally spiritually and financially always in the state of goodness. Thank you Jehovah for blessing me with the spirit of Goodness.☺️🙏🏽
Please pray for Goodness for me. Today I receive the Fruit of the Spirit of Goodness. I am breaking generational curses and coming out of agreement with lack, poverty and debt. I come into agreement with abundance, wealth, fortunes, good health and great healthy relationships. I am always on the frequency and vibration of Goodness in Jesus name. Amen!🙏🏽 ❤
I just want to share that there was a time when I had an out of body experience. It was 1969. I had a friend come to the door to tell me that my husband had been shot in a hunting accident. I remember looking down on myself and the friend as she told me what had happened. Then I was back down on the floor of the house. At present I am reading your book The Case for Heaven. Oh yes, my husband lived :) Praise the Lord.
Lee failed to mention the names and addresses of the 500 witnesses to JC resurrection, at least an atheist would say "I dont know who these witnesses were" and nobody else does either. More lies from a so called Christian, nothings changed.
Some of you need to actually fact check Strobel and his interview claims. I did. As said there is no evidence to believe this. I say this over and over in my own vids. As an unspecified theist. This is what the apologist always gets wrong. The 500 witnesses. No. There are writings at best three decades after the fact saying there were 500 witnesses. We have not one piece of signed authorship. Not from a Jew, A Pharisee, an early Christian, a Roman, a friend, an enemy or even just the neighbor down the street. No one who said "I knew Yeshua. I witnessed his miracles and him rising from the dead.: Signed: Someone Who Knew Yeshua. The most obvious conclusion is then it was urban legend. Cheers, DCF
How do we figure out what stories are true and what stories are not true? It has to do with making an analogy with stories that we can believe happened, and an analogy with stories that we believe did not happen. And use the thousands, hundreds of thousands and millions of stories that humans have created, both true and not true. Do we think the stories of the moon landings are true? Do we think the stories of Star Trek are true? Why do we think the moon landings and coming back to the Earth actually happened? Because Neil Armstrong was a great pilot of jets, Buzz Aldrin had a PhD from MIT in orbital mechanics. The Scientists and Engineers knew how to build rocket ships. Why might we think that the stories of Star Trek are not true? Aside from the timeline problems. Because the stories don't contain knowledge on how to make Warp Drive Star Ships, Photon Torpedoes, Transporters. In order for us to think the stories of Star Trek, we would have to be able to build a Warp Drive Star Ship and fly to Vulcan and look and see if there is anybody there that looks like Spook. Then we might think that Star Trek is true. It is all about knowledge vs story claims. In order for someone to turn a 3 day old stinky body to new again, that being would have to know a lot about the human body, about blood, skin, bones, eye balls, liver, heart, etc.. Did Jesus tell us anything about the human body? Anything about first aid that we humans can use? Anything about CPR? Anything that would start Science to research into starting Medical Science so humans can build hospitals, medical research facilities and ways to prevent diseases naturally? All Jesus of Christianity gives us is God Magic. Did Jesus tell us about Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Geography, etc.. If Jesus was a God, Jesus should have been able to fill entire books on economics, much more than Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations, 1776. Instead of just telling people to give to the poor. If Jesus cared about humans, Jesus would have talked about how to build more wealth with good economic practices to build businesses and on how to make things. Then lets understand Thomas Jefferson and his phrase in the Declaration of Independence of the United States, "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God." Thomas Jefferson did not think that Christianity is true. Jefferson knew that the stories of Christianity only gets to a human created story God, stories created by humans. Jesus is a Supernatural Superhero, who only knows God magic. Jefferson thought that a Nature's God would have knowledge of Nature. That is what the Philosophers of the Age of Enlightenment gave us, is to not believe in Supernatural Superhero Magic Gods, but to build on knowledge of Nature and Reason. A phrase used to describe the Age of Enlightenment was 'Dare to Know.' It is the Age of Enlightenment Philosophies that gave us the advances of Nature, like electricity, electronics and machine created power, medical care and medical hospitals. Not the Magic Gods Philosophies from the ancient world.
Do you have any physical evidence for your physical claim? Sadly, most believe in the stupendous claim of rising from the dead simply because of the juvenile brainwashing by their previously brainwashed parents.
Young preacher. Seek God's face in your prayer closet. Draw close to Him. You have to be fully indwelled by The Holy Spirit to bring a convicting message that leads and begins with prayer so that your words are not mere words of men.
Great sermon, but it would be nice if you didn't use the Message as your reference. There are plenty of translations that honor God's Word. The Message is so paraphrased that it should be considered a commentary.
Nobody die for being crucified for less than 8 hours like in the case of Jesus. This is proven by Catholics devotees in the Philippines and Mexico were Catholics Devotees during Holy Week perform the actual rituals of Crucifixion and still alive. Some just fainted. Moreover, the punishment by crucifixion by the Roman was intended to last for days not hours.
In Mexico they don't lash the performer tearing apart his flesh, nor they drive nails, nor they drive a spear through their flesh. You don't know what you are talking about
This isn't the only evidence for the existence of God. Someone in the comments said non biblical sources of Jesus' existence prove he didn't resurrect. No evidence for this was provided, just a human having human thoughts. The Roman manuscript of Jesus didn't disprove anything. Neither did Josephus' account of Jesus disprove the resurrection. Also, believing humans are more intelligent today than they were 2000 years ago is ridiculous. Through combined intelligence and the passing on of ideas through text we have the scientific knowledge and technology we have today. If you refuse to believe in the supernatural, just say that.
Here is what prevents the Bubonic Plague from killing people, from Wikipedia; (Bubonic plague outbreaks are controlled by pest control and modern sanitation techniques.) In the years 1347 to 1351, 1/3rd of the population of Europe died to the Bubonic Plague. Parents would have been praying to Jesus of Christianity to protect themselves and their family from harm and children would have prayed to Jesus of Christianity to protect their parents from harm. Did Jesus tell them how to prevent Bubonic Plague when they were praying on how to protect themselves from harm? 1/3rd of the population died. The reason we don't usually have Bubonic Plague around is because of the modern sanitation and pest control. Was that to much for Jesus to explain to the Christians in Europe?
The point of Michael Jackson's song Bad was that it is COOL to be good. The word bad back then was slang for cool and the video for bad shows him not wanting to do the wrong thing under peer pressure. So he rebelled against the bad guys. Michael was all about doing good and he believed in and spoke of Jesus.
Take time to envision how superstitious people were during Jesus' time. They saw what their savage minds wanted to see and people believe what they want to believe. After all Darwin requires work , courage and maturity.
This argument doesn't make any sense. Essentially what you're saying is everyone in the time of Jesus was superstitious and savage? This isn't an argument against the circumstantial evidence for Jesus' ressurection. It's an attack on the character of the witnesses. Take time to envision that as your argument, completely nonsensical.
Darwin? Seriously? Why don’t you read Lees book “The Case for Creation.” Darwinism has been debunked so many times! God Bless, I hope your eyes are opened to the truth. By the way, I’m pretty sure you have a bad or non existent relationship with your father.
Anyone who begins their argument with “Jesus never existed” has shown they have never studied. No serious scholar, atheist or not, has ever denied Jesus of Nazareth walked the earth.
@@lepidoptera9337 The women, the disciples, anybody else who saw the empty tomb and drew precisely the wrong conclusion. The accounts of subsequent encounters were either later fabrications or the result of hysteria and denial, probably a combination of all 3 elements. People will believe anything , and go to great extremes to justify themselves.
Thanks for this. It is so true that we need to stay close to God and keep our relationship with Him as first and foremost importance of our life otherwise subtly and slowly we can go back to our old natures. Life will bring us much transformation through suffering and trials but transform us for good only if we go through it with God. God bless you!
The apocryphal texts were never accepted by the Jews as being scripture, and weren't part of the new testament. The catholics added them and they were never supposed to be included in the inspired word of God, which also demonstrates the resurection of Christ.
@@lepidoptera9337 the Bible is a series of historical documents written between roughly 1400 BC to 90 AD. The donkey itself didn't talk but God caused it to. Donkeys cannot talk, yes, that is part of the set of naturalistic laws that provide the basis for a miracle, kind of like the resurection of Jesus Christ. He claimed to be one with God and provided the evidence for that claim in breaking all naturalistic laws and rising from the dead. You could argue that it didn't happen, which is possible, but given the circumstantial evidence surrounding the event its more reasonable to conclude that the direct evidence of the eyewitnesses testimonies are factual rather than fabricated. If Jesus was truly dead after the crucifixion, the tomb was empty, the disciples genuinely believed they had seen Jesus alive after He had died and they were transformed by this experience they claimed to have had, tell me, what other reasonable conclusion do you personally come to that can account for the evidence that isn't based on a naturalistic presuppositional bias?
Thank You,Even been in church 25 years I find my self lost and empty but today I give my heart to Jesus.I am free today.Thank you for sharing today sermon.
Lee Strobel just proved the Christian belief in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What proof can you give that "the brow chakra awakens" or that the "crown chakra" awakens? Until you can offer evidence, these are just beliefs.
@@matno1949 The medical symbol with the two intertwined snakes represents the spiritual anatomy in a human. At each crossing of the snake there is a spiritual center or chakra. There are seven chakras. People have gut and heart feelings caused by energy in the lower chakras. On rare occasions people like Jesus and others have awakened their higher chaskras and gone through a type death and resurrection. Shamans of primitive cultures talk about going through a type of death. Zen Buddhists call the death of the Self "The Great Death." These are experiences not beliefs.
Do you have any evidence for the existence of chakras? There's evidence for the ressurection of Jesus Christ, not any for some mystical eastern religions. Don't blend lies with truth, that's what Satan did in the garden.
@@davidclark2592 actually, the snake on a pole represents the story of Moses when he lifted up the brass serpent on a pole, as God commanded, so when the people looked upon it they would be healed from their snake bites.
“Why Do We Believe In The Resurrection?” Er, is it because we are poorly-educated, intellectually-challenged, gullible, and credulous? Is it because we’ll believe any old “supernatural” garbage thrown at us?
Lee Strobel’s Case for Christ is such a weak argument. If you look for evidence of Jesus outside the Bible you can disprove him in about a few hours. So good news you actually don’t have to give your life to a religion that’s definitely false! You do have to be open to finding out it’s not real though. A lot of people seem to find admirability in blindly clinging onto their faith and never looking for evidence against it which is the definition of being an idiot.
Derek Videll, You are a Fool! Lee Strobel just gave you an overwhelming amount of evidence. If you look for evidence of Jesus outside the Bible, there is an overwhelming amount. of evidence as well. The religion of Evolution has the weakest amount of evidence on how we evolved from a rock. Evolution literally claims we evolved from a rock. But whatever man, God Bless ya'!
@@heresjonni8968 ...oh, there's evidence. There just isn't a question that's being answered by Team Resurrection's hypothesis, is all. You see, Science works on budgets: It doesn't have the resources to formulate hypothesis' for every imaginable question. Science MUST discriminate. There is also the issue of bias in proposed questions, of people wishing to serve an agenda; say, of an religious sort; or political, or economic sort. Science must have a valid method for minimizing bias, as well as optimizing its use of limited resources. The criteria Science uses for this is by looking for questions possessed of intrinsic value--questions generated by themselves, in the form of anomalies. These are facts (or, perhaps, just one fact) which are "inherently interesting," meaning that current models are unable to explain them ...You see. But, no mere claim about an anomaly is valid. The claim must not only be validated with the actual fact(s), but must have a consensus of interest in the anomaly. The example of the asteroid "Omua omua," back in 2017, is typical. The facts which Team Resurrection puts forth (the death of a person, an alleged empty tomb, religious belief in a risen god, etc.) generate no anomaly of interest to Science. So, again, "the resurrection hypothesis" doesn't explain any sort of valid question at all--one of inherent interest to any science. Therefore, neither is a valid question present of interest for human action. The "resurrection hypothesis" can thus be dismissed out-of-hand.
No serious scholar, atheist or not, has ever denied Jesus of Nazareth walked the earth. Every time I read or hear this canned comment, I know there is no validity to it.
You seem to think very highly of yourself and lowly of the people who disagree with you. Seems like you have a reasonable mind capable of forming a reasonable conclusion.... What evidence outside the Bible 'disproves Him'? Whatever that means.
You have not learned that from atheists, so you are either lying or misinformed. They rejects gods, resurrections, etc due to lack of evidence. There is no sin, that is a man-made concept.
I'm a former Christian of 25 years. You should research the ancient history of Judaism. That's what lead me out of the faith. If you read my comments to Krystaline Krys above, you'll get an idea of the history. Here's a brief description. The original Israelites were indigenous Canaanites and practiced the polytheistic Canaanite religion centuries prior to Judaism. El was the chief deity of the earlier Canaanite religion with Asherah as his wife, Baal his son and Anat his daughter. El was the original God of the Israelites.
If you doubt me watch Dr. Christine Hayes " Lecture 7: Israel in Egypt: Moses and the Beginning of Yahwism". She is a Yale University professor. You can skip to the 32 minute timestamp to hear about how the original Israelites were indigenous Canaanites and practiced the polytheistic Canaanite religion centuries before Judaism began.
