I packed my essential oils including my diy oils in my essential oils organiser in my suitcase!!! I moved the same way I transport them for our trips!!!i had to empty all furniture as we didn’t move furniture!!! The fidget toy organiser should move!!! Moving is tiresome but worth it!!! Wen we got to Hawaii we had admin stuff as well!!!
The diy organizer worked well during travel - I might take the time to make a nicer looking one for general storage, but I'm glad we didn't have to spend money on it! 😄 Moving is tiresome but yes, it holds so many adventures!
Moving for us starts slowly and then speeds up!!! I’ve found having PDF curriculum helps and keeping up with laundry helps us!!! My daughter asked me if we where cleaning up the house for new year’s and I said no but we want to eat stuff up before we travel!!! We eat up food before we move!!! We’ve never moved locally tho!!! We’ve only moved with a cargo plane for our stuff!!! I remind my kids and husband and friends we live with to label!!! My friends kid says I’m the one to tell her!! I’ve not had moves the same!!! I use pencil cases so I packed them knowing my stuff!!! We use prayer candles and I didn’t pack them just bought new ones at our new home!!!
We moved late July and we are just organising a lot of our stuff now!!! I had to let go of a our sauerkraut but we made a new one before we went to our last competition of the year!!! Moving is messy!!! When moving as I tidy I toss stuff we aren’t taking with us or put stuff to the side we are packing and don’t need till we get to the next house!!! I believe you can make gummies with honey!!!

Love this video! I'm hoping to homeschool in a couple years with my kids are school age 😊 have you read any great books about homeschooling? I want to start easing my way into learning more about it!
The Brave Learner by Julie Bogart, Teaching from Rest by Sarah Mackenzie are both great books, but the most important thing someone told me was that no one was going to love my children more than me and want their success and happiness like a mom's heart does. So knowing that, trust that you are the best teacher for them. 💕
Congrats on the "first senior year." It's so much fun to find other moms of high schoolers! And yes, I love that we can flow with life. A good electric pencil sharpener is worth its weight in gold :) YES! We have the same cheesy response to what inspires us - our kids <3 So nice to "meet" you!
I was so happy to hear your same response to that question too! It is so amazing to watch their faces light up when they understand a new thing and just getting to be such a big part of their journeys!
I thing get to know the teacher at the beginning of the school year!!! We are going into our 8th year I think!!! I thought a delayed start wouldn’t work but my friend is doing that and their family are going to be travelling with us!!! We are classical homeschoolers!!! We have dyslexic kids and they thrive with the classical approach!!! I love teaching science especially as we do creation science curriculums!!! I think reading is both!!! We love hands on learning!!! We love a good pencil case for each kid as we travel so we want them to last!!! We love devices so we can use videos for learning and pdfs to make travelling light!!! I fell in love with homeschooling!!! I didn’t expect it tho!!! I’m a night owl!!! I can’t read my Bible as soon as I wake as I’m Not really up!!! I’m A coffee drinker!!! My teenage daughter is trying to get me into Japanese style tea!!! I love a plan as a flexible plan!!! I’m a surfer and my older kids surf as well!!! I had a kid compete locally recently!!! We don’t have cooler months here!!!
Loved learning all these tidbits about your homeschooling and you! My son is learning more about the Japanese culture and would like to travel there some day - so fun that your daughter likes their tea! And what a great experience to travel with fellow homeschoolers - sounds like it's going to be a really great school year!
We were feeling unsure as we traveled as we knew God had placed Hawaii on our hearts but wasn’t sure and my brother was way ok if we left him in Sydney or not as he lived with us but we wanted to make sure Hawaii was where we were ment to be!!! We moved just before our last event this year!!! Even tho I make goals monthly I have the same goals from March as they haven’t changed!!! We bought a lot after we moved so we could keep stuff at my now bother’s home in Sydney!!! It was easier for us especially as we plan to go back to Sydney!!! As Christian planner doesn’t set u up for the next month I use a different page for that!!! We’ve moved internationally only so bought food after we moved!!! We’ve never moved within the country!!!
I’d rather pay for convenience!!! We have a hobby lobby on our island and we love it!!! We decided to move wen I got my job and we didn’t know till we moved we would end up in Hawaii!!! We where looking at a German island in the pacific but decided against it and end up in Hawaii!!! My teenagers love coming to Costco so they can get what they want!!! They do help as well as well put stuff in the cart!!! We had a summer Strom the other day and we where surfing through it!!! My older kids learned how to surf in swell!!!
A6 is still small!!! I won’t buy a7 as it’s too small for me!!! I don’t like daily planner pages!!! We love a flexible schedule and find we get things done!!! I’m glad that my planner is on my phone so it’s with me when out!!! I used to buy planner pens so I could use a pen with a personal planner but they wasn’t the best!!!
I just found your channel and I’m really enjoying your videos. You’re so real and I love seeing your daily routine, especially the food. Did you find the Almost Amish book in the library? It sounds really interesting. I live in an area that has a big Amish population. Oh, and I love the idea of making oatmeal in the IP!❤
I love those I do a kids book and teen and adult book giveway at applebees( 3701 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70002) i have given away 1000 books in 7 months
I should write things on my monthly schedules!!! We haven’t decided when we start back school but we are thinking when we get back from the last comp!!! My high schooler is probably doing a super sr yr so he can pace himself with his subjects!!! We’ve only been on the island for a couple of weeks so idk wen our local schools start!!! Here we don’t have a temp season here just a surf season being in Hawaii!!! Anything on my food shopping list I buy for health reasons I make sure I get!!! My high schooler puts lemon in his water!!! I log with stickers on my monthly!!! I have space for pre planing but only do it on my weekly’s but I add it in way on advance!!! We are sorting our homeschool room and the teenage athletes I homeschool love using it alongside my teenagers especially as my younger kids have no homeschool by the time they start as they start in the afternoons!!! My younger kids homeschool in the mornings at the moment!!!
Im enjoying using Christian planner digitally!!! I use other planner pages alongside it in my digital catch all planner!!! We have a prayer whiteboard that we put up wherever we are as it’s a small one!!! I try to cover up stuff with labels when possible!!! I have a lot of random notes in my planner!!! I have my faith planner separately!!! One of the teenage athletes I homeschool puts it in his planner!!!

I’ve just bought planner pages for homeschooling!!! Idk if I’ll use them or use something else yet!!! We make sure we do laundry the night before we travel to a new location!!! I write out my goals every month and i always have a health goal!!! I’ve not set smarter goals for a long while!!!

We went up to New England so we have been busy seeing family sights, my Granddad lived there for a while so we want to show my kids and my older kids can’t remember it as they were 3 and 5 and I couldn’t explain to them his work there as it wasn’t age appropriate!!! He did mission work!!! You have tons of stickers!!! My girls hoard planner stickers!!! My older daughter users them in her homeschool planner so The state will see them when they see what independent work she did!!! My weekly to do list Ofen goes to the next week or most of it!!! I love iced coffee but we are in the tropics 90% of the time!!! We love our rice cooker, my older daughter asked for one so she can make sushi for lunches and we all use it!!! My girls don’t match their stickers but I try to!!! My son said New England is cold and bought a warm coffee and I reminded him when he was younger we lived in the U.K. where it got colder!!!
I love how much traveling your family gets to do and all the exciting things and experiences your kids get to see and do! I've been trying to use up my sticker collection and not buy a ton for the past couple of years :) I think I kept telling myself I was "saving" them for our memory planner/scrapbook but I just need to use them up!
I’ve started making planning stickers and I love them!!! I love the Christian planner especially that I use it for my weekly and then put my weekly health and homeschool on the next pages!!! I’ve noticed God’s ways of teaching us if different to human ways of teaching things!!! We are on the middle of the Pacific Ocean so used to air con!!! We are loving the island life and culture tho!!! That air con is quiet compared to local air con here!!!
I love the extra pages between the weeks in the Christian planner- that’s a great way to use them! And yes, God’s way of teaching can be so different 💕
Travelling makes us throw away what we don’t use!!! That baby cream sounds very natural!!! I love buying natural products when possible!!! Me and my husband read the Star Wars books as kids and my boys love Star Wars!!!
Moving always makes me toss stuff out, but I'm hoping to get rid of things before then - lol! My oldest has been reading the Star Wars books that are similar to spin offs I think - they're not the movie ones 😊
Nothing wrong with getting back into bed when you can!!! I often do my work planing in the evening. I plan events often!!! I use old carrier bags as trash bags and chunk them in the trash!!! We love pineapple on our pizza and in burgers!!! Hawaii is like a 2nd home tho and we have the chance to move there!!! I hate it when ur allergic to a tiny ingredient in a lot of stuff!!! Hot Dogs for lunch sounds awesome!!!
I like taking out previous weeks from my planner!!! I love the pages in between the weeks!!!part of travelling means we only have desk mess for max of a fortnight!!! I used to track my meals but I no longer do as I did it for medical purposes!!! We have a lot of work parties!!! I have to plan them!!! I love the habit trackers!!! I use Christian planner and then have other weekly pages next to my weekly page for other purposes!!! I wonder how many planer stickers my older daughter is travelling with!!! We are officially in summer but we didn’t stop homeschooling but we just slowed down!!! With travelling idk how we could take off summer as we would have no life in the school year and I want to enjoy our travels!!!
Nothing wrong with finishing the school year early!!! That’s why homeschooling is awesome as we go at our kids pace!!! I’ve found that each kid goes at a different pace for each subject!!! We love TGTB language arts!!!
I love the day stickers for my weekly health tracker and I put it behind the weekly schedule!!! I love the bible verses on Christian planner!!! My day stickers are colourful!!! I’m trying to pack lighter where possible but travelling is our life!!! We are celebrating Mother’s Day a day late as we are in the Caribbean so it’s became a day late!!! I forgotten that the time difference was so much till my sister in law said!!! Aussie and American Mother’s Day is the same!!! I love the idea of a green corner!!! My brother loves green tho!!! I’m glad I mainly use my digital planner as I have to travel with it!!!
lol - you'll probably want a better set up than mine :) I just use a regular tripod and try to point the camera as far down as I can. I really should invest in an overhead one, just hasn't been in the budget yet 😄
I never kno wat to put on my top 3 focuses when I reflect on the week ahead!!! I used to track water but I found I only needed to to start drinking more as I wasn’t at the time!!! My intention is to take a break from homeschooling but. My kids kno I’m on a break from work so they are doing more bookwork!!! I keep telling them to enjoy the Caribbean!!! I often decorate my planner in the middle of the week!!! My daughter does the same thing or should I say she can’t stop decorating it!!! I love that homeschooling is a flexible way of education!!!
Yes! One of my favorite things about homeschooling is the flexibility it allows! How is the weather in the Caribbean right now? We have one sunny day then rain and wind, today there was even sleet :(
I have a monthly goal page I bought!!! Idk where from tho!!! My goal pages are broken up with subcategories but idk if faith is on it as I don’t think it is a Christian planner I bought!!! I bought the pdf planner for my older kids and I also use the goal pages!!! I need to put in my planner the travelling we have!!!
You do a ton of traveling! How do you keep track of it all? It must be so enriching for your family to get do the hands on learning! 💕 In real time, I have the goal sections set up but then got sick and still haven't filled them out ☺
I put most of the my planner in it so even tho it’s overwhelming I’m glad I did as last week was busy but worth it!!! My teenagers can do laundry but I find it’s easier for me to do it if they don’t naturally do it!!! I don’t want to turn into a nagger!! We have too many water cups!!! I’ve told my kids that they can’t buy too many from each location as I’m not buying a suitcase for them!!! We love windy days as if we are in a surf location we get good swells!!! I don’t let my younger kids surf on big swells yet!!! I don’t like fancy pillows as it’s too much effort!!! Nothing wrong with starting the day wiv a shower!!!
It's so easy to collect water cups! 😄 But no, definitely don't want to have to buy an extra suitcase for them! :) I can't have fancy pillows - I use them all! lol!
