Hi, I'm Victoria and this is my little corner of the internet!
I post videos every Sunday at 9am, mostly about books, with occasional sprinklings of mental health, step parenting & anything else that takes my interest!
This is a charity channel, meaning that ALL my AdSense is put into a separate bank account & donated to a different charity each year. This year we are fund raising for Crisis and The Trussell Trust; so please watch with the ads on!
I like to keep things relaxed & friendly, so feel free to say hello!
If you don't feel like leaving a full comment on a video, please leave me your favourite emoji instead, so I know you were watching, and my social media links are below!
Thanks,
Victoria xx

This has skipped all videos in my watch later - just HAD to watch it! ❤🦉 You have been such a genuine friend to sit down and chat to about books, so grateful you made your channel 😇
Honestly, if I see your monthly wrap up is over the 1 hour 30 minute mark I am always DELIGHTED 🤩 I so enjoyed hearing all about your RU-vid journey, I want to thank you for your wonderful content (and thank lovely JoP for recommending your channel to me). You have transformed my reading life back to where it over 18 years ago before I became a mum. I’m so grateful to have books back in my life in a big way, for which I owe a huge amount of thanks to you 🦉 x PS. Bookbreak need to send you ALL the books as you definitely influence me to buy their books (points and yells “influencer influencer!!” 😂)
I've been watching you since day 1 😁 always love your vlogs. I was thinking the other day, I can't believe it's 5 years since we met up in Bristol?! Literally where has that time gone. I try to ignore stats too, it isn't the point! It used to upset me when I first started it I lost subscribers or videos didn't do well. I don't care any more, I do it for me now 😊❤
🦉🦉I love your month end vlogs! I much prefer your style of videos - so much more real and genuine than some that are overly produced and edited. We feel like we get to know you. 💜
I'm pretty sure you were the first booktuber I came across a couple of years ago and always stuck with you because I love your down-to-earth style and the way you talk so animatedly about books 🦉
A great video. I love your vlogs, especially the long ones. I wouldn't have read Legends and Lattes without your recommendation - definitely like the idea of a recommendation video! 🦉 x
🦉 Long vlogs my favourite Victoria (the longer the better), especially B roll of your trips/outings & book shopping. You definitely got me to move from cosy crime to cosy fantasy😊 Look forward to Sunday mornings, particularly the first Sunday of the month🛋️☕
I would like to say, you changed my reading totally, when younger I read loads even as a young mum but in my late 40s it really dwindled down to probably 2 or 3 a year , then I heard you mentioned and the rest is history I’ve just finished my 20th book this year, you have also made me realise it’s worth trying different authors and genres x thank you 🙏 🦉
Love the video as always , I have gained some great friends through a love of books and 1 very good friend who we know have 5 to 6 outings a year for book shopping keep going and I love your vlogs 🦉
🦉 what great answers to this tag. Love how random your most watched video is. I’ve been here since 2020 and love watching on a Sunday morning with my coffee. It’s part of my cosy Sunday routine. ❤
Ahh 6 years!! It does feel so crazy to think about that! Vlogs are definitely the best 🥰 and your videos do certainly feel like sitting down and talking to a friend 🧡
Thank you!! I'm looking for recommendations for my 10 year old... She's an advanced reader, but I'm slightly worried about what is contained within the pages that aren't age relatable. 😊
Such a lovely video and some great recommendations Victoria, thankq. I couldn’t get into Rewitched but will be picking it up again to give it another try, I so want to love it too. ☕️
The Spell Shop was absolutely adorable!📚 Nevermoor, Rewitched, The Hobbit, Woodwitch, Legends and Lattes, The Full Moon Coffee Shop are in my list 📚🌚😁 Probably, you’ll enjoy reading The Last Bear and Finding Bear by Hannah Gold, both books are wintery cozy, inspiring and cute 🐻❄️🐻❄️ Wish by Barbara O'Connor is also sweet, kind, cute, and cozy🐶 Maybe, you’ll also like reading it ☕️🌝🐾 Thanks for recommendations! 🌚 Cute and cozy video, as usual!🐾🤗📚☕️
I had a very similar experience with the legends and latte books! I really need Travis Baldree to publish something else! I’m currently reading the very secret society of a regular witches, and loving all the cozy vibes in it! ☕️
These are all wonderful recommendations!! Garlic and the Witch is one that I really want to pick up once I'm off of my book buying ban because it just looks so damn cute!! I need The Full Moon Coffee Shop as well! 💙💙
My ultimate cozy books are Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell (sisters, friends, old lovers, tea, food, English village), any Jane Austen, and Agatha Christie, especially the Miss Marple books. I also find the Witch books in Terry Pratchett's Discworld to be very cozy. His Tiffany Aching series is also very good. It's more Middle Grade/YA.
