@@The047SportsTCGCards love the card you got, great minds think alike. I thought it was priced to sell. Nice pickup. I have been visiting my mom in icu, she’s getting better. So I haven’t made a video but I got the Brady showcase and a few others. Video coming eventually
The Chrome inserts in Stadium Club a few years ago all had "This autograph is certified..." text on the back, erroneously printed. Topps owes me for the near heart-attacks when seeing the backs of Ohtani and Trout cards, but they told me to kick rocks.
Topps & Panini if I had sent these Jayden Daniel Error Cards too I wouldn't have gotten any response for sure or some waste of time. Topps & Panini will just claim error on their end and never try to fix or make it right on anything. Glad SAGE did something!
@@The047SportsTCGCards 2 packs of 2019 Stadium Club I got at Target had 2017 Series 2 base in them, obvious reseal job but only recognized when I got home. Filmed it though. Contacted Topps, they said it was basically on Target to control their stock.... then they sent me two random Bowman autos weeks later. There's always a chance!
Thanks for the video. I'm glad you and Degen Rips were able to get something. If those would have been Panini cards, you guys would have been stuck barking at the moon.
I last year wrote to SAGE because I didn’t get a hit. Last week I got three autos from them. They weren’t anything special but they responses at least and compensated
Wasn’t expecting any response, so to get back free packs and my cards back ain’t bad, would have preferred the Jayden Daniels auto but they knew mistake was mistake
I really like scanning the back of the slab and looking up the jersey and stats for the game and it not part of actual card but of the actual slab, I think it’s tough to do with psa and sgc BUT it’s not impossible
Thanks for the video! I watched Packman rip 30 of these in his latest video. It is an innovative product. I'm not a fan of having the graded patch not fully encased.
It’s definitely interesting and I think finding a Jordan auto patch in this product is next to impossible. I do like it as a possible innovative in normal cards though in a sense
Josh out here making moves! Hopefully a good turnout at the Bdubs. A really entertaining main card for that night as well, the Tom Blaydes matchup should be entertaining. Trade night and some lemon pepper wings would be sick 😂.
@@The047SportsTCGCards yeah honestly I would just be happy to own a 5-6 these cards seem hard to get and are getting pricy. I look in 10-15 years and a card with only 2k made should be sought after considering so many Brady and football fans.
@@thelasvegaskid Your SPOT ON with your thinking, just keep going after more of the NFL Uni cards and stay away as much as possible from the college unis as you can (unless they are PSA 10s)
I agreed with the tips that you provided but I think one tip that can be useful for vendors at shows going on multiple days is to always take your cases with you after the show has closed for the day. I'd rather have the hassle of having to reorganizing my table everyday rather than someone coming in after hours looking to rob cases sitting unprotected in the middle of the night at a convention space which can be easily scouted and mapped out.
I think some of the XFL and other games he’s called thus far he’s done good, Brady studies everything and he might be have his ups and downs his first year but he’ll get it all figured out long term
Actually, Ryan Leaf is in the media with things, Russell sounds like he is going to jail in the near future for embezzlement. I know your joking so we all good my man, but, the BROADCAST BUMP in card prices is a legit thing that happens. I am still surprised Aikman Rookies are at the prices they currently at.
Tom Brady is already high but with him broadcasting this will ultimately shoot his cards through the roof for a few weeks and I feel like they will stabilize at a new high.
Ahhh his market has been down overall this year, but yes his high end cards are always high, but there’s plenty of growth to go Your right in stabilizing at a new high
Shady or Not Breakers are in abundance and it ain’t going away. I wish it wasn’t like this but it is and choice to roll with it or not, it all needs a ton more regulation
I have no problem with reselling, especially to breakers. I think I would feel slightly bad for clearing shelves but flipping retail products will always be apart of the game.
I don’t feel bad when I know I take care of local friends first to folks I know who care about the hobby and then I go to breakers for resell. I don’t feel bad because if I don’t take the product, the breakers in my area will just take it all anyways - I at least get my friends their product they want
Thanks for the Stumble haha, Sage received my cards and package on 5/30/24. I haven't got a response yet, still waiting but will definitely do a video IF they respond.
@@The047SportsTCGCards awesome I legit bought 2 boxes today and I read back of the card and was like this isn’t right so I did a search to see if anybody posted anything about the card without the autograph!
@@The047SportsTCGCards EXACTLY 💯 Refreshing to hear. I get a bit burned out on channels only caring about how much EVERY card is worth. That's not what this hobby is supposed to be about. Ripping with your boy and the love of the sport/hobby is what matters. I only collect Football, so not into the TCG part. 😂 Who new Pokémon and others would be so popular. Too bad it's not Garbage pail kids. 😂
@@srjwildcat3589 First love is always football (My son is Eagles Fan, I am Jets Fan) but your right about the love of the hobby and sport, it's important to have.
Mahomes is my man. I'm a die hard Chief. Unfortunately, I was in the hospital 1/2 of 17' so missed a lot, but opened a TON looking for some rookie ink. Any list for that? 😅 I STILL have 0 Mahomes ink. 😔 I was searching before he made a name for himself, before everyone and their dogs wanted 1 for $$$. I am a TRUE collector. I've never sold a card & have collected off/on since 93'. I have some Mahomes rookie cards (They were hard to get for being #10 in the draft) I have the Optic rated rookie, holo and pink. I Aldo have a Phoenix colorburst (back when they were way more rare than now) got lucky on that one. Then I have a few like Score & others, but that's it. I also do not grade cards, but have thought about it with my Mahomes for protection. Probably cost a fortune though. I keep them 1-touched with sleeves over them to protect them. I remember seeing rated rookies in a stack at my LCS his rookie year for like $10 each. If only we knew, right? 😅😅😅 When I went back they were ALL gone. I don't even have a clue what they're worth today to be honest. I would love yo have several Mahomes, but Srlect wouldn't be on the top 9f my list. Optic, Prizm and high end products like NT, Flawless, etc of course everyone wants those. I'd love to have a rookie lovkerbook & his true Contenders rookie auto. Too bad people don't still do trades. Was funny they couldn't wait to trade me before my team was good - for 50 years- but now you think ANYONE will trade? Not a chance. Covid invading scumbags ONLY in it for $$$. Thanks for sharing! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 Take Care/Stay Safe ✌ Do you watch Surfer? Trying to figure out where I know your name from. I watch too much football. 😅
Hey, sir .. sorry to bother you. I have sent a few emails (might be going to spam or something), but you won the PSA graded albert pujols rc in my channel giveaway . Shoot me an email so I can get you the card. It was in the giveaway announcement
When your talking modern and ultra modern cards, Let me give you examples to help you better grasp pop. Wembanyama Base Prizm (2024) Pop is currently as of today at 12,516. Joe Burrow Base Prizm (2020) Pop is currently as of today at 7,236. Dak Prescott Base Prizm (2016) Pop is currently as of today at 1,515. *****So, if you factor in those numbers and you see that a PSA 10 Select Mahomes Pop is 556 and is much less than prizm pop and the card had to come out of hobby box only, to me, the card is very rare when looking at the pop counts and the landscape of top rookie base cards over the past 8 years.******
@@The047SportsTCGCards those pops are insane🤯. Thanks that really puts it into perspective. I guess I need to go look at the silver pops and compare the two.
@@boxalarmtrading Bottom Line that last 8 years Panini has been producing WAYYYYY TOO MANY CARDS. (Topps has too but not to this insane level - YET) Patrick Mahomes Base Select is a BUY and will hold rarity long term and he's better than anybody I had on that list and it ain't close. FYI - CJ Stroud is already over 5300 in Pop too.
This video will age like wine. I think you’ll hit on 2 of those people minimum. Love Trask pick I almost forgot about him. Drew Lock in NY is amazing risk/reward. How many times in your life do you get to buy something and risk 5-10% but the reward is 500%?
Is your strategy high volume low end flips or higher end flips? Also do you sell on start news or after big games? I think the Fields pick is a solid one, he had some electric games even with a bad o-line and middling weapons.
My personal strategy this year is to focus on middle/high tier of backup qb cards. However, I’d say if I was starting out and like I’ve done before is do high volume low end flips. I sell the week they start primarily, I don’t blame ya for holding a card or two back to see how they play to go for a bigger flip - but - I don’t like risk and I like profit more so I usually sell before they do anything
Glad you talked about Booklets, I was digging them from Immac but good to know that I should only get them if it’s a long term hold. 😅100% on the horizontals. I’ve noticed my eyes always gravitating to my vertical cards in the display. A ton of my favorite ufc rookies are horizontals.
They are especially super awkward in a slab and how to display them - horizontals generally are 20-25% cheaper than verticals if we are looking at sales number across the board too.
Sorry to say but the greatest card of all time may not be the most expensive or most rare but definitely a game-changer in card collectibles is definitely the 1998 Ken Griffey Jr upper Deck rookie card
I have never ever regretted selling the hype on a player. burrow, jrod, Corbin Carroll, stroud, Bryce young, Herbert, Wemby. It takes time to be confident enough to sell hype and know you will get a better deal down the road.
Your point on the confidence note is important to note, because folks need to be confident in their thinking that it's OK TO SELL YOUR HYPED CARD, odds are your not holding on to a grail card and can always buy it back cheaper down the road. #NOREGRETS
@@vincent9630 Valid points for sure and your right Magic was in 1993 before Pokemon and that is right I stand corrected on that point. HOWEVER, I would say the PSA Black Lotus is beyond rare and a super card - but - it didn't have GLOBAL WORLDWIDE Impact that the Charizard Shadowless First Edition Stamp had. I see your point and it's valid for sure - I still stand by my opinion but I get the Lotus argument. I appreciate the input for sure. I still see more Pokemon elements in TCG cards than I do Magic The Gathering cards but I get your point for sure - and you definitely representing the 50 million Magic The Gathering players out there.
