CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE A REALLY NICE PATROL. I HAD 2 NISSAN PATROL: THE FIRST ONE WAS A 1962 AND THE OTHER ONE WAS A 1975. ACTUALLY, I HAVE A NISAN PATROL 1995 Y-60. NISSAN PATROL, THE BEST CARS FOR THE OFF-ROAD. REGARDS FROM COLOMBIA.
Hey, i enjoyed your video. I have a 67 G60 that I bought this summer and have been putting back together. One of the pieces that is especially hard to find is the original tool box, which is what goes under your passenger seat. I wish I had those rear seats!! Mine didn't have any when I bought it. I am in Louisville, KY and almost all the Patrol owners are in the west, so getting some of the larger pieces I need is going to be expensive. I have made some good friends on the G60 Patrol Forum though, and learned a lot about the Patrol. Good luck with everything...Darren (weasel451)
I recently just purchased one that had been sitting for over 25 years here in the US. The motor is unfortunately frozen and needs a rebuild. Can you offer any advice on locating parts for a rebuild? The bike sounds great, can't wait to get mine running!
the engine is basically a Zündapp KS 100 engine. Sometimes you can gets parts on ebay.de oder marktplaats.nl (Dutch). If you want to purchase a complete engine you should ask Massink or Jeand Davids from the Netherlands. Just google Zundapp and their names, and you will find their website.
thanks a bunch for posting this. i saw the add on craigslist and got a hunch to yotube it, and voila... there it was. it was like a virtual test drive. can i request that you kick the tires on the next one though? :) i really want one of these. I have a 97 wrangler, but i've gotten behind on registration while i was a full time student, so i'm hoping my degree will help on that. did you end up selling it?
