I didn’t care for this back in the day, was right there with My World as the worst tracks from the Illusion albums during my early journey becoming a musician song writer. As I’ve grown and matured over 30 years as a multi instrumentalist and song writer I have grown to really appreciate the dynamics and some genius behind of this composition and how the music and lyrics support each other as far as the emotion , mood, or tone of what is happening in the song.

10 out of 10 for allowing the audience to see the large screen and be part of the action unlike some of the postage stamp presentations...BUT FYI: THERE'S A LOT OF SOUND DISTORTION HOWEVER... If you fix that even you're listening in the earphones will become so much clearer and dynamic...💕 🙋🌹GA USA 🇺🇸✌️
I hate the way these music reviewers react to the video instead of the song, focusing on the visuals instead of the music. This guy isn’t as bad as most who watch the video instead of just listening the song but I do wish they’d just react to the song instead of the video
I don't know how true this is, but i heard the school tried to cover up the incident, hence the lyric, "try to erase this from the blackboard". Heartbreaking. I'm glad you're still with us. I'm glad you didn't go down that path.
why the constant "copyright" crap???? Other reactions don't do this. VERY, VERY annoying to break up a song like this. Cannot subcribe if everything is so chopped up like this. And then, the constant "copyright" breaks, you interrupt the song between the precious time WITHOUT the "copyright" interruptions. Horrible, horrible to get through to the end, and I didn't on this song, and won't be coming back. You have a lot of potential, but you gotta work out how you do these videos.

Listen to “Running Through the jungle” about being stuck in Vietnam. Also a great song is “Fortunate Son” saying no to the draft and being sent to Vietnam.

The band. The emotion. The energy. The pain. It's agonizing. It's beautiful. It's the type of pain you just want to feel over and over again. He expresses every emotion you wish you had the ability to get out of your brain. He is you, thats why it is so touching, moving, life changing. This performance will never be touched. Ever. The goose bump inducer. Unplugged Eddie. Im coining that if it hasnt already been coined.
Great reaction this song was made to address PTSD, the cover up of Agent orange etc. Vietnam vets not only had to deal with that but the disgusting appalling way they were treated when they came home. One of our dark times in our history.

This is one of the best reactions I've ever seen, bar none. I know it's 3 years later, but your insight is spot on. Having said that, you must watch Brian May's version of this. It was extremely personal for him to write this song about his divorce. He has three children. The Brian May version is much better, in my opinion. Freddie can do it all, but Brian owns this one.
