Hey, what a nice message 🤍 thank you for writing me! I am fine, I have been just busy busy ☺️ I will upload a new tutorial very soon! 😊😊 I hope you are doing well too and you are enjoying your weekend 🤗
@@lulubluestudioHope you have a wonderful weekend, too! I bought the Caran D’Ache gouache after watching you add beautiful details to your flowers. I can’t wait to follow one of your videos and use the gouache this weekend!
@@BernardineWalker thanks for letting me know! I hope you’ll enjoy painting with this set as much as I do :) and also, I hope the tutorials will be useful ad a guidance 😉 have fun painting, my friend!
yes! Layering is my learning struggle now… how to layer without it looking hard or awkwardly placed. This will be an important reference tutorial… I will try it when paints arrive. Part of my first miniature cotman palette hit pan so quickly… Also, its less pigmented formula and slow traveling pigment in wet-on-wet really fustrated me. Cant afford professional grade windsor newton but I heard positive reviews of the Paul Rubens Artist palette, which I can get, so I just ordered! It is much much harder to get European paints where I live… and they cost a bomb with international shipping and exchange rate. Wouldnt it be lovely if art supplies cost less 😅
You did great buying the PR Artist palette, don't worry about using exactly what I use. Any paint is fine, if it makes you practice and have fun while you're doing it! :) Let me know how you find the new colors, after you use them a bit! 😀
This is where as a beginner I am focusing. Most times I use just one colour for the whole page. I feel it is so critical for me to get this before worrying about colours. The layering bit for overlapping leaves is so tricky. I hope you can slow down as you layer spots decisively
I love it. However I do have a request… as a beginner I would need brief instruction on your brushstroke as there is no way a beginner would wiggle the brush that confidently. especially those m-wiggles 😂. Cant wait to try
Thank you, Anne! I understand that, my brush strokes are quite quick because I like to not think too much about the details, but to focus on the overall shape of the flowers/composition. But I get your point, I will try to prepare something slower for you! Thanks for the feedback! Have a good weekend🤗💛
Hi Vanessa, thank you! The brush is the Wash Flat brush: Princeton Aqua Elite 1/2" - i checked the link below and although the first picture doesn’t look right, all the other ones do :) make sure it is the wash brush, it looks like a square brush 😉 hope it helps!
This is beautiful! I love fuchsia flowers of course their color is just about perfect!☺️. I’m really excited to try this. Thank you and have a fun weekend!💕💕
Oh, Lori! Thank you so much! What a beautiful message you wrote me 💞 so happy to read you liked the paintings! Hope they inspire your creativity!🤗☀️ have a good Sunday!

Oh, Linda, thank you so much!🥹🥹🤗😍 you’re too generous and kind. I appreciate it a lot! Thank you for watching, I am so happy you liked painting with watercolors and crayons ☺️🫶🏼🤍 have a relaxing weekend!
I’m truly enjoying this mixed media series in the size you are painting. Thank you so much. Could you show us how to activate the pencil or Neocolor crayon would change the look of the painting? I think adding water in strategic places would change the look of the painting. Thank you so much. What a wonderful way to learn how to use white gouache and other media with watercolor. You are a great teacher.
Angie, your message is lovely! Thank you so much for writing me and giving your thoughts! I will create videos where I activate the crayons/pencils with water after the end of this Spring Party ☺️😉 in the meantime, there are a few short tutorials in this style (mixing media) also on my IG profile 😊🫶🏼 hope it helps! Have a good day!
I love your spring party! I agree how using other media opens your creative thinking. I like the small compositions and the full size ones😉. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us!💕💕
Thank you for your feedback and support, Machell! During this Spring Party I will share more mixed media plays, with bigger compositions and also some other smaller ones ☺️ have a good weekend!
🫶🏼🫶🏼thank you, Judit! Love to hear it! The third tutorial is a bit different, we will mix pencils to watercolors to mini-floral compositions. Hope you will like it!😉🤍
