Really John ,,, I was called to recommend bringing my Murano in for service ,,, synthetic oil and filter ,,, the oil and filter was changed three and a half months ago at 5300 km. I now have 9851 km. ,,, no, my vehicle does not need the oil changed and the filter replaced ,, just ridiculous !!
Hello Munnjean, We’re sorry to hear that we’ve reminded you too early for your maintenance service. Our reminder system is set to notify our clients at the five month mark for a service due at six months. If you’re able to let us know the name that your vehicle is listed under, we’d appreciate investigating our system settings and ensuring we make any needed corrections. From “Munnjean” we aren’t able to locate an associated vehicle. Thank you again for your feedback. Regards, John Hughes. Service Manager Kelowna Nissan
Sure love our new Rogue SL excellent service from the staff at Kelowna Nissan. Just a bit concerned about my fuel economy, I have almost 1000 km. mileage and all city driving ,,, I don't have a heavy foot by any means and it is advising me that my best fuel economy is running at almost 15 L / 100km. that's double what they say I should be receiving with the 2.5 LT engine.
munnjean There are lots of factors that can affect your mileage but 15L / 100km does seem a bit off. Have you passed the 1500 km break in period yet? If you do most of your driving in town, you could take it out on the highway and see if it's closer to the advertised 7.4 L/100 km. If you don't see an improvement you should make an appointment to bring it in to our service department. It's possible that a sensor isn't working properly or a computer isn't setting the right fuel/air mix.
Bruce Goett Thank you for responding ,, I will take your advice and take our Rogue for a good spin on the highway and see what it tells me when I return.
