I have a 1995 4WD Toyota Hiace. I've got a mechanic who works on her for me, but I'm really struggling when it comes to finding parts. I'm currently trying to find shocks for her. If anyone has advice for me, please give it 🙌
Ive got a townace yr30g and it's similar but ive got eyelets in the rear. Thisbjust confirm i gotta oull the carpet all thw way up i was hopijg not to but thanks for the video I actually upgraded to kyb in the front because im going the opposite way and "slamming" my van
Do you know what the compressed and extended length for those are? The ones I used are almost identical to stock. I see that the 5437 is from a Toyota pick up. If it fits, I'd say go for it. They are similar in weight. So far I've done my two and two others with the 54304 and there haven't been any complaints. As far as torque, I don't have that exact number. It's more of a feel and then there's the lock nut that keeps the shock nut in place. If the torque were higher than 20-25 I'd be shocked. You're just compressing the bushing until it stops, then you put the lock nut on.
Joel Candelario its got 284/70/18(34") Nitto Terra Grapplers. Suspension consists of OME front struts and heavy duty springs, and OME rear shocks. We installed Coachbuilder shackles to lift the rear. The front also has the Total Chaos front upper control arms and Coachbuilder tie rods. The lift is a little over 3". it's my homeboys truck, but we installed everything in his backyard.
Rausch is a good spot to go off-road with a full size truck. the trails are wide enough and there are multiple levels. I have the black JKU, the Tundra is my buddy's truck.
Winter wheeling ! Nice video man after several trips to rausch in the winter I'm more than happy to see it from the comfort of home this time of year lol thanks for sharing
The Jeep is a 2012 Sport manual with 3.73 gears. I installed MetalCloak springs, JKS disconnects, Quadratec shocks, and Quadratec steering stabilizer. The tires are BfGoodrich 255/80/17 on the oem wheels painted black. The bumpers are Barricade, the rack is by Kargo Master, and the lights are ebay LED headlights and fog light bulbs, four Hella Ralllye 500s and two Rallye 4000. Other than a CB and aftermarket radio, the interior is stock. Underneath, I installed a Barricade skid plate.
Thanks. My buddy Jamoll has done a few more upgrades since this first vid. Check out some of the later ones. I just uploaded a new one this week. Also, check out lostbearingsoverland.com for the build sheet on it.
Thanks again for the guidance. Cain and I were saying that you helped push us and try things we wouldn't have. We really appreciate it and hope to see you guys again.
