Great take on a classic fish favorite. The tip on adding a bit of adhesive to the base of the bucktail at the turn to prevent fowling when casing is one of the things that makes this fly so effective. E Coast Bass and Albies love the all white.
Thanks for the video. Great weed guard. Do you really think this one works better than the “double post” V-shaped weed guard? Also do you find that your weed guard tends to make your fly turn over and ride upside-down in the water, even with the lead eyes? I’ve been having that happen sometimes. Tight lines man.
Man I’ve tried so many flies lol. I live in central FL and I’ve been all up and down the east coast, planning to head over to the west coast this season at least once. I’ve been targeting trout, snook or reds. Been fly fishing for 2 years and no luck yet 😬 way harder than spinner fishing lol
