This is the official RU-vid channel of the Household Division.
The Household Division is a collection of elite regiments each with a distinguished service record that extends across many generations. It comprises of the two Mounted Regiments of the Household Cavalry and the five Foot Guards regiments. The Guards can trace their roots back to the 17th Century when the new Model Army was founded by Parliament after the English Civil War. Regiments have served continuously as the Sovereign’s official body guards ever since the Restoration of King Charles II.
The Household Divisions perform both operational and ceremonial roles.

This really deserves to be redone in 4k with professional sound. Any volunteers out there? I'm sure Horseguards would be enthusiastic. The thing is - this music attains an elegiac quality when performed by this massed band. The fact is, no one else in the world can come close.

During one of the Trooping the Colors videos I watched the BBC said those were WW1 cannons. If that's true, should they be doing that with 100 year old cannons? Is this another BBC misstatement?
