@@TK2112 thank you!!! one more thing , on the psydoom page , wich archive i need to download? there are one named "PsyDoom_1.1.1_Linux_x86_64.AppImage" that is the correct for the steam deck?? also, it runs at 60fps on steam deck? or lower?

@@TK2112 Thanks for ur super quick response, but im running into an issue where in Desktop mode when clicking on the exe (either Lucas Launcher or simpson.exe) it will say "choose Wine prefix to run exe" and im not sure what to do here. Have you run into this type of thing before?
@@chocbartowbar2668 I don’t use wine. You need to add the Lucas launcher exe as a non Steam library game and set it to the latest proton in the Steam properties. once you do that it should work. Make sure the launcher detects the hit & run exe before returning to Steam OS and the rest is up to you.
@@TK2112ah yep that seemed to do the trick, I thought maybe the wine thing was because the game was still not being recognized somehow but if I had just followed your steps in the description it would have been fine actually , sorry about that. Anyway the game runs on the steam deck now and it’s amazing to play it again, thank you so much for your quick assistance!
I wish this game was on Steam or GoG so badly, I don’t care if it’s bad to todays standards, it and Naboo star fighter are the only two notable games that aren’t on the platforms. That and I just want another Star Wars rts…
20 years later, I still don't understand how scanner jammers are supposed to work in this game, or if they even do anything outside of their scanning ability.

Any advice on how you installed this on Deck? I installed OpenJKDF2 through Flathub but hit a wall and not sure how to proceed or combine the games assets with OpenJKDF2.
