Wrote long.... and it went "poof" and it was gone! Just bought my next Celebrity cruise (out of Tampa, Feb 22, 2024) due to Ms.Laura (who by the way, looks a LOT like my Seattle daughter). I'm now an Elite Plus, having even been in a Chandris ship (later "Celebrity") 40 years ago. Now my grandsons are treated to any cruise they wish for (since 2015) and their last one with Celebrity was the July 2022 Infinity. I think the market of us grandparents (who let's face it, have the time and the $ to do so) taking the grandchildren should be stressed. I like Celebrity for them (now oldest 17yo) because at Celebrity, they meet likekind, ie. intelligent, hight quality youngersters who appreciate TALKING and commiserating during cruising. YOu also mentioned the "disability market". We have also a member of our family who is disabled (as you, your grandfather) and because of this, I'm always reaching out to the disabled in the cruising world. It often doesn't take much... just passing them by and saying ("Silvia here, hope things are going well")... lots more to talk about.

Our repositioning cruise last november had no restriction s whatsoever and it was a full ship too. Cruise was back to normal with no problems and no testing. Had to show vaccine paperwork and confirmation from insurance company but other than that all returned to pre pandemic. cruising.

Chris, get the sitting at the bars back to normal m8 then ya ships might be full again. As a regular with Tui/Thomson over 30 + cruises. There is no reason not to allow sitting back at the bars. I was on Discovery 2 a few months back when Discovery 1 was open to bar sitting again. yet 2 werent. Msc was all open a few months back when I was on there as well. Sort it out m8

I'm booked on the October Med cruise but sadly I may cancel after seeing one passenger's cabin which was really poor. It badly needs a cabin refit. There was chipped furniture, grotty sink, drawer missing handle, sockets lose & ragged cut round that should have been filled in. This cabin was on outside, mine will be inside so I dread how that will be. You should be go round a selection of cabins & have a look. If this was a Premier Inn room you would leave.
