One of the biggest things with Arrma RCs is that the plastics are slightly brittle from the factory - hence the breakages you encountered. I haven't crashed my 6S Kraton EXB RTR V2 as badly as yours but I have sent it just as high and yet mine has never had a single part replaced or upgraded since I got it on Christmas Eve 2023. The secret is plastic conditioning... Since Arrma plastics are slightly brittle from the factory, I always set aside a few days to condition the plastics of any Arrma I buy. I use a product called Muck-Off MO-94. Its a modified PTFE coating used for UTVs and Mountain Biking. Essentially its WD-40 but dries and doesn't attract dirt after drying, instead leaving a dry slippery film behind. After doing any preparations (I install my own receiver for Futaba 7PXR and glue Yoga Mat in the battery tray as well as under the motor to protect from big impacts, then change diff fluids to my liking), I coat the entire truck in MO-94 and let it dry for 3 full days before I ever take the truck out for its first run. While the MO-94 is drying is a perfect time to re-enforce the Body with E-6000 and Cement Board Tape. MO-94 will soak into the plastics, conditioning them and softening them up slightly, making them closer to RPM plastics rather than Arrma plastics. It helps to do this conditioning once or twice per year after an extensive deep cleaning or full rebuild. I hope this info helps you with getting Factory-Stock plastics to hold up better!
Only as I use all the m2c parts on all of my other cars I thought to try something different as the viewers may like it But m2c all the way however both are great brand and I have used the kcrc ones in a bigrock and they are very strong and amazing quality like the m2c ones
Hey man. Why dont u do a comparison of the maxx slash and the kraton also do u use wd 40 the trick is to soak the plastics in water put then in the microwave and immediately soak them in wd 40 makes them 10 times stronger
I finally realized after a long time. Skate parks are great to bash on for big air and fun, but they totally F up your car.😂. Mostly in the dirt for me.
