New Mexico Historic Sites are storied places where the past is palpable. They invite you to hit the road, explore, and get out in the golden New Mexico sun. It's your chance to follow in the footsteps of indigenous people, Spanish conquistadors, Civil War soldiers, outlaws, and lawmen. Visiting a New Mexico Historic Site promises to grant you a deeper understanding of those who have gone before us and helped make us who we are today.
I worked in La Zia for seven years. The shop at the front of the Taylor home. We shared walls. Was there when Mary passed away! Studied this history to tell the tourists! Incredible 😊
Im from Ruidoso, and I've been to the Fort many times.. I was there in September of 2023. I saw a ghost, clear as day, in the commanders house.he was wearing the blue pants ans white shirt i later saw in the barracks to be their uniform of the soldiers at the time it was being used as a fort. But it was just my mom, my uncle, and I in the house. I spent the rest of my time there looking for anyone walking thw geounds wearing that color combination of clothing who may have walked in without us noticing. As i left, i checkes every room again and never found another person inside.
Hi my name is Jennifer Tullie. I’m from St. John’s, AZ and I was wondering if you know of someone to help me make my own oven bread in my back yard. Will you be able to help me with that?
I need to learn how to make bread like this I forgot that its around for feasts thats interesting you use lard and poke the tops. The oven is so cool looks like a big huge pizza oven that would be so cool to have one like that. Thank you for the video
Hello. I could not leave a comment on your Mesquite video, since the comment section was turned off. But I learned a lot about mesquite through that video and Mckinney. I am currently in Egypt using what I learned from you on a project to turn the Sahara Desert green. I am recommending one of my large, land owning clients to plant thousands of mesquite (along with many other plants) in order to establish a sustainable egg farm in the desert. This should help bring down the high price of food in this country. So thank you for your videos. They are helping to change the world.
I've hiked a lot of Arizona and New Mexico. I found an agave / century plant stalk... Best hiking stick I ever had, strong and light! I didn't know your type of stalk would be strong enough. I'll look for one.
