Just a group of guys making cool shit that was edgy, goofy, over the top, violent and FUN. I detest what some these lame devs of the current gaming scene are pushing out. Woke bland and worthless garbage
if you look at the tv in 5:04, you can see they edited it, I wonder what was on the screen originally for them to do that... (the last frame of it also glitches)
I love the interaction with Ed Boon and Tony Goskie at 5:23. A sudden huge breakthrough and you can just feel Ed's excitement thinking about how awesome it will be in the final game. And a good demonstration of the talent and ingenuity of the people making this game with Tony's efficient solution. It makes me smile
It's hard to believe this even was a thing. Had to be some weird licensing after Acclaim went bankrupt and Midway also going bankrupt in 2010, somehow EA published this. Thank god WB stepped in and bought everything, could have gone so much worse.
History teacher: Today we’ll be discussing Genghis Khan. That one student: KHAN!!!!! (Echos) Khan!!! Khan!!! Khan!!! History Teacher: Be quiet and pay attention. That one student: 🤷
MK did that before deviantart was even a thought. Also, plenty of giantess fetish fatals floating across the games too. And I'm sure there's more than that, damn near everything is a fetish somehow nowadays. Not everything needed to be a decap though
Oh my goodness. This game came out when I was 15 yrs old. I remember my cousin telling me about it; especially when he told me that Adema did a music video for the game. I got super excited and I just had to have it.
I remember watching this a lot as a kid, and I was inspired to learn 3D modeling and animation. I took Maya in college and one day decided to watch this again and realized, that's literally the program they are using in the video :D
Me at 6 years old “I don’t know what they’re talking about but it’s cool!” Me after college with a computer graphics degree: “I know what they’re talking about and it’s a pain.”
