My husband and I (and our daughter and her friend) were in Banff in 2021. We must have spent 3 afternoons in this spot having a picnic lunch and just relaxing.... enjoying the beautiful view and the peaceful silence. Loved it.
Finally went back here since the pandemic and boy did it ever smell foul in there peeyew! First couple of times I’ve been there it had zero smell. I almost was gagging by the odour, similar to decomposing fish I can only describe. I hope they get their act together and get the joint cleaned up! Even the glass was mucky and can use a good scrubbing
I live up in the Sherwood Hills NW area, we did not get it this bad as shown in these clips but both my vehicles were damaged for sure ! this will cost the Insurance industry big time for coverages for sure !
On a sunnybsummer's day, you can escape the hustle and bustle of T.O. for a few hours. Take the ferry-boat at the Island Ferry Docks; it's a round-trip fare It takes about 15 minutes from the main land to the island. There's plenty of things tosser and do including the Centreville amusement park, Far Enough Farm petting zoo, and the giant pier and the beaches on the south side of the island.
Kind of displays humans attempts to control Mother Nature. When the falls were diverted to create the power turbines the remaining natives said "Look what they did to the falls".
