The golden mean, rectangle, triangle, ratio and spiral were oft used by master painters, artists, architects and photographers to exalt the compositions of their paintings and fine art photography. The golden mean is also known as the divine proportion, golden section, divine section, golden ratio, and golden cut. It is closely related to the Fibonacci numbers, rectangle, and spiral.
