Ty for sharing! Tip, check your light source and focus. Lighting seemed a bit dim and the pieces were a little blurred. Camera position seemed great as was the play area!
I just learned about this version of Point Salad today...am a fan of Point Salad primarily and Pokemon 2nd (am a fan of the OG 151 and Eevee), so this works!!! I like that they made Eevee itself a wild Pokemon card that takes a whole turn to pull...it changes up the core game just enough to fit in with the Eevee evolution theme. Love it!!!!
@7:30 jeremy rolled two 5s a 4 and two 1s, i thought the ruling on that would be he wouldnt draw a card since the numbers are not 3 of a kind and at the point of him drawing he hadnt activated an offensive ability at that point yet. Is there a clarification on that because im new to dice throne and just want to be sure
I rhink i missed it, i backed the kickstarter and got the battlechest. Is there a way for me to be able to play these before they are shipped next year?
A lot about this game looks amazing, but then so much of the gameplay comes down to the Challenge Book. Can they really capture the feel of different tasks? We haven't seen enough about them to know.
The video ONeb *needs* to put out is the open-and-start process, from opening the box for the very first time through the first few rounds of tutorial gameplay, even if just prototype materials.
@@ashurroth6585 it's only costing then sales :/ I'm buying 1 player or for me, 100%, but the secrecy is losing them my purchase of second and third pk. For one co-player, not an experienced gamer, the very first box-to-table experience is absolutely make-or-break; for the other co-player, it's a reasonable estimate of campaign length /commitment. _I'm_ certainly not going to risk $250-$300 (including per-player add-ons) because they want to play coy. Their strategy for this campaign is... flawed, and ridiculously frustrating
wolverine actually gained one more rage than he should have during a defense roll around halfway through the game (the "on 6 symbol" only grants 1 rage) plus phoenix had the acuity to reroll her defense to try to prevent 2 of the (what should have been) 12 damage, and going into her last turn as phoenix, she might have pulled it off (but if i'm not mistaken, the burn on her likely would have killed her unless she had some way to prevent or remove it going into her last turn) really close game, and im looking forward to the final round!
Hi, BGS! Just a quick observation if you don’t mind. Around 17:50, Lizzy used a power AFTER the Groundskeeper had already moved. Once that piece moves, players enter cleanup and are no longer allowed to use the powers of their factions as they are no longer in the mythic phase of the game. Just wanted to notate that as a point of order. Thanks!
Was having some trouble understanding the rules so thanks for this playthrough. Got my eye on this one for sure. Makes me debate painting the minis cause they are color coded but also so neat looking! I'll likely paint the colors back onto things like the towers /hulls on the whales.
After rewatching your advanced game playthrough again, I noticed at 5:46, after "Shepherd" moved onto the flag, combat should have been triggered. If I look at the map correctly, the LOS lines share the same color (yellow). If Shepherd's capturing the flag is instantaneous, he would have the flag as combat is joined.
@BoardGameSpotlight, from what I know from the video gameplays I've seen online, the flag cap is instantaneous. It's whether you can keep it as the question.
42:37 at this point, there should be no goals, only tiles. Also, maybe in future games like this you might shrink the wife, just a tad and put her in the upper right corner, so we can see both her and her tableau. Thanks again !
Thanks for doing the playthrough! I like your setup and you played and taught the whole game while holding the little guy so that’s worth extra gears 😊 Quick rule notes: - Before the first round, each player simultaneously chooses a card from their hand to put directly into their vault. - At 21:22 the 8 Skull should have gone to Glavrun and the 5 Crown should have moved to the block. - Also, Lizzy should have 2 more gears because the 5 Skull and 8 Skull (which should have been the 5 Crown) should’ve each had a gear on them from not being bid on in the previous rounds. Thanks again for playing, it was fun to watch! The little guy will be your third player in no time, he wanted those cards!
