Hey, Ted! That is most definitely me! The plan was to take the audio from the camera at the mixing desk, so it "didn't matter" if I sang along while filming the close-ups! XD As it turned out, the wide shot camera had died after 1,5 songs... I decided to just edit it all together to not let all that footage go to waste!
Hehe.. Gubbjävel! Hade man nog sagt som ung.. nu är det gubbjävlarna som spelar och de unga dansar fortfarande. Jävlar vilket ös de kan köra med, såhär 44 år senare.
By basically all accounts he is a super down to earth and nice person, as well as being very fun to work with. It's only Steve Harris he's had issues with because Harris is a tyrant who didn't want anyone calling him out when Bruce joined the band.
That interaction 23 seconds in shows how easy going he is and how fun to work with he probably is. Other artists probably would have gotten bitchy at being interrupted like that.
Thanks 🙂I will probably do some two-camera videos next time I go see them (like I did from Gothenburg last summer), but not one of these (unless I find two full sources for one of the Globe Arena shows in 1996).
You should check out the video of Metallica's 2015 show in Gothenburg, Sweden which I did years ago. It's similar to this, with the added bonus of soundboard audio. There's also the 45 minutes I filmed of their show at STHLM Fields in 2014. Apart from that, just some single songs.
