We've created this channel to entertain and educate the viewers on one of the oldest ways of life in the Americas. As a family we cherish the outdoors and everything that calls it home. We do not enjoy the act of taking life, yet it is necessary to manage the wildlife numbers and help maintain a healthy and balanced population. Welcome to NW Montana, where we quite literally live in a post card.
@@JohnnyRingo406Trapper yes sir just fished last day of holidays was a good month off hunting elk ordered a dozen of footholds upping my game now 😂 still waiting on them hopefully he will have them done in a week or two
With wisdom being the better part of valor I followed the advice one of you gave in trappers ed last year and didn't use the dishwasher for mine. Like and comment for the algorithm.
Thats terrible theres people messing with other camera!! I'd like to catch them in the act!! Thank you for sharing your footage brother!! Good luck with everything!
Bucks and Bulls are tough critters I've bow hunted on and off for 40 years. I just bow hunt does now I've lost too many Bucks with good hits usually because of Bone, recovered too late.
Livin the dream man! I’ll be hunting around here some of Dec and then again part of Jan. I’m gonna be huntin south most of the rest of winter but let do it… good to be seeing you in the woods bud.
@@wadehostetler7604 I do have a fair amount of coyotes in the area. Unfortunately I had a card that I can't download from in 2 of my cameras and got a lot of yote action on both of them. Appreciate the view
@@davidbartch8917 cross fox is just a color variation of the red. You could actually see reds, crosses, and silvers in the same litter. Appreciate the view
It really sucks about our Wolf season , 45 day's . I was told by Nathan at FWP to prepare for the same season for coyote as well , that anti group has filed a law suit to be heard in Dec. . Cant belive it has come to this. Where did you get your camera systems ? Thanks Johnny !
@@mikequesenberry5344 Everyone at FWP knows that if coyote trapping becomes an issue, it will only make me an outlaw. I will not quit trapping yotes. Too many ranchers depend on us. As far as the camera systems go: www.spyhighmounts.com/ Appreciate the view friend
I don't know about the winter all of a sudden we have drought here in the midwest and the early fall not so far here at least. Plenty of cougars on camera.
I feel your pain. I took my son duck hunting this morning and half way to our spot I remembered that I forgot to put the plug in my gun. I took it back to the truck and got to see my kid shoot his first duck. As far as your camera goes, it's not the ups and downs in life. It's the jerks in between. Now I have to go get my keys that I locked in the jeep. At least I just got to enjoy some fresh venison from last Sunday's doe.
@@timkaldahl Glad to hear about his first waterfowl. I'll be going out next weekend for a wing shoot myself. Hoping to get some decent GoPro footage as well. Appreciate the view my friend.
@@wadehostetler7604 I appreciate it greatly Wade. This is just the beginning of the busy season for me. Hoping to be able to put out a ton of content this year.
Happy Birthday to your Dad! Very neat to see game cam. Made me wonder if wolf trapping you could put a red in a live trap to draw the pack in and just have snares setup every where. Didnt know if that was legal or not. Enjoy your relaxation at camp glad youre enjoying it. PS dont let apple convert you! Lmao 🤣 Tight chains brother!
wish i got invited 😢 always willing to learn im still in the same boat as you rookie i think this is my 6th year or 7th trying to catch those timber dogs Great action on the cams 👊
@@gkhuntertrapper2738 be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled for next year, should be right around the same time, it's an open invitation to all serious wolfers. I think Paul only announced it on his FB. Take care bud.
You got the name a little wrong Iowa Outdoor Family but appreciate meeting you also. Watching your trail camera videos really took what was being discussed in the demos and played it thru the scenarios of all the different stuff we talked about. That second pair of the wolves the first and second wolf looked right at the camera and the 2nd one looked and took off knowing... this isnt safe. That first video to me it looked like a bobcat especially the next video of the bob cat, same black around the feet right size in comparison to the bear. Paul did a great job love that it was put together in a short time and so much knowledge being shared wish i could have stayed longer. Christopher is trying to convince his mom we need to move up there and be Montana Outdoor Family. I will work on some editing and get some video out of the demos so hopefully the guys that werent there can appreciate the knowledge also. Hopefully can make it again next year.
@@iowaoutdoorfamily my apologies friend. And as far as the wolves spotting the camera...the sun was directly in their eyes as well. Insanely smart and intuitive creatures.
I wish I could have made it up to Pauls sounds like it was a great time!! You have some great footage on the trail cams! Good luck on your elk hunt and trapline! Thank you for sharing my friend!
