I have 2 keys. They both have the governors on it? Do I need to buy another key and that will fix it ? Edit: saw in comments I need a new transponder? Do I go to dealership for that and does anyone know a ballpark on price?
I have same minivan and tried to get code to reprogram. The guy at dealership said Chrysler is no longer giving codes out even if you have all documentation . So two key fobs off amazon, had them cut. and nothing to reprogram, and I'm not paying 90.00 to have it done by a locksmith. How did you retrieve the pin# to program the keys ?
Im in the process of trying to get keys and remotes programmed now and nobody seems to be able to do it. Did you need to do anything to this programmer to be able to program key fobs? I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, but I think its the same RKE and SKIM set up. Im starting to think about buying an auto pad pro just to be able to make copies of my keys.
It allows a scan tool to communicate with the vehicle for testing. Just connecting with the OBD terminal-you cant access the vehicles systems. Don't know why Chrysler has to make it more difficult
Good evening my brother, I really like your work from my country. I have a 2012 BMW X6 E71. I would like to know is this the same procedure to follow to reprogram the remote control lock? The key starts the vehicle but it no longer locks the ports. I changed the kidney battery. Can you direct me please?
So the Routan has a Chrysler Security System. It’s pretty much a Caravan or Town N Country. You can get the Fobik Remotes anywhere they just have to be programmed, and the emergency key cut.
@@urbanlocknkey9113 the ones I’ve done use a 12-8 cable . I guess is possible to connect to star connectors but it doesn’t seem the easiest way to go . Just my opinion
@@sheerwillsurvival2064 not all of the 12-8 cable connectors are easily accessible. I have both sets of bypass cables I just prefer using the star port connector because of the easier access.

Ford is a piece of shit. They want to charge me $150 to re program my keys, because I guess I accidently wiped my admin key and now my settings are all fucked up.
Yes unfortunately once the admin key gets put as a mykey, you have to get a new admin key generated. Unless you have 2 keys for that vehicle, then you can do an AKL (All Keys Lost) process to the vehicle.
@@urbanlocknkey9113 I wonder if I programmed 4 new remotes if it would push the stolen one out of it's spot. That's my issue now, I don't want whoever has it to come back and try using it. I'd feel better knowing it won't work anymore.
Hello I saw a video of yours 3 years old but I’m struggling with finding my dodge ram pin tried a scanned but it dosent give me the option to do so any other ways I can get my pin without having to go back and forth with dealers?

So you go to information to see my key and it’s not under settings, but when you have the admin key in the vehicle the my key option will pop up under settings then you go there to adjust it
