I have trouble with the back of my tongue going up instead of only my tip but I’m happy that I now have an idea on where to place my tongue. I can’t wait til I’ll see improvements!

I’m looking for help with my 6 year old- He makes more of a shhhh sound His snow is more like “no” and snack more like “nack” He can make the s sound at the end of words like bus - but can’t say sun (sounds more like ton instead of sun) Praying this helps! Our local speech therapy lessons cost $65/ hour 😭
Im a 12 year old and I have a cleft which causes me to not be able to say S very well so Im trying this therapy which on my first time doing it seems like a great practice!
I'm 17, will be 18 in a couple months. Have never noticed I had a lisp until recently, when my mother told me she tried to help me get rid of it when I was younger. I've always heard people say I have a lisp but I would never hear it myself. Until I would sit down and try to read a book and the sibilant s would come out brutally. I hate the sound of it and it felt like I was piercing everyone's ears around me. I would try to move my tongue around closer to the front but, it would always default to flicking to the middle of the roof of my mouth. I will be taking this more seriously because I want my kids in the future to not have to suffer through the sound of their dad's lisp. 😅
I can't believe it's that easy. I've spent 19 years of my life hating the sound of my own voice in recording and being embarassed whenever people pointed out I spoke with a lisp. Because of this video, i figured out that was because I pronounced s ounds it by hissing air out of the side of my mouth instead of pushing air through the front. Thank you so much.
im preggo rn and i want twins but oh well going for my first ultrasound tomorrow im 8 weeks 2 days im skinny and i do have a stomache rn but maybe it's because of the bloating
