You'd think the tunnel would be oxygen deficient to some extent, that there can't be to many trains or there are air purification pumps in tunnel. Oxygen deficient air not good for locomotives I would have thought
Cool catch! For the past few weeks this has been the setup for MPDNP (which I’m guessing this train is), but sure is a bit bizarre why that’s the setup they’re going with…
Thanks so much for this! I was all over this place in early 90's, As Orkin man I serviced the offices, Roundhouse, break rooms and out buildings, plus as a railfan at same time got many videos around yard, from one end to the other, plus the hump engines working the hump. Got a lump in my throat now, much of the service buildings gone and people too!
With all that smoke I thought it was a Russian train. Seriously though, I got seasick watching because of all the camera movement and zooming. A tripod would help, and no zooming. Otherwise, it was a great video.
Nice catch! The military equipment belongs to 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division heading to Korea to assume the 13th US Army Brigade Rotation to Korea.
