What if Bank of Canada doesn't stop increase in interest rates? This has happened in the past after 1991. Though there was a huge immigration program open then as well, the interest rates went on rising and house prices came down. and BTW you can't get a house at 600K and rent a portion of it for a reasonable rent income. It needs a bigger house.
Thanks Priymedh, there is a very good Condo project which just opened 2 days ago. This is close to the West Harbour GO station and downtown Hamilton.
