My favourite Fan Canon regarding Botar is that, after getting killed by Icarax, he got teleported to the Red Star, revived and then just teleported back into the Matoran Universe. And the 'new' Botar is just the old one but the leadership of the Order of Mata Nui didnt want to tell everyone about the red star.
