Join with me, to witness some of the greatest battles throughout history. Not just from our world, but from fantasy worlds like Middle Earth and Elder Scrolls. Thanks to award winning series Total War, we can go back in time and watch some of the bloodiest battles with our own two eyes! My name is Pixelated Apollo, and I hope you have your sword sharpened, and your Warhorse rested, because it's time for Battle!!
Make sure you prepare for realm divide, (Google it) Basically if you choose to be independent everyone including your own territory and geisha will rebel against you over and over again. so make sure you have a IRON CLAD economy because hell lets loose when you pick that option
You should get some line infantry ( black tortoise force with the funni hats ) they are better than the white tiger force in EVERY aspect , also get some parrot guns
Apollo the hud might change if u change the resolution in the screen settings in game, maybe lower it slightly? It changed on my computer when I adjusted it
pixie, i've been watching since your medieval ii #203 2v4. i love that i'm able to just sit back and hop into the middle of whatever campaign you're doing next, regardless of if i've been following it or not. you're just entertaining!
After 5 years I finally came back to watch pixelated Apollo (definitely didn’t forget you was on RU-vid) and finally you’re playing shogun again. Keep it up
Hi Apollo, it's me again. Thank you so much for featuring my comment, and I'm glad that it does help you one way or another. Amazing defense at Fukushima by the way, that would have been an easy lost on VH difficulty but you clutched it like a true legend of the north. Some quick tips for the day: 1. Damage buidlings can repair on their own. It just takes a very long time, but since your economy is still quite bad at the moment, plus enemy fleet can easily bombard any part of your land, i highly advice just to wait it out a few turn to repair them with a lower cost, or for them to fully healed (with the exception of the city itself, since it provide lots of repression, leaving it damaged mean you risk the chance of low public order) 2. Ships are indeed important, but they are super expensive, and usually the wars are won on land, not at sea. You do need a fleet to transport army to Hokkaido, but keep in mind wooden ships are kinda suck, you would want armoured-plated ships as your main fleet, and this is done by research, so it will take a while. So, tldr, don't buy too many ships for now. 3. At this stage of the campaign you can't really have peace, no matter how many armies you have destroyed. All your enemies are pro-imperial (except for Okazaki, still no idea why they don't want peace tbh,) and since you are having too many wars going on, the AI tend to "gang up" on you way more than usual. Best chance you can hope for is to conquer more land, trigger realm divide and unite the whole shogunate force against the imperialist, so that your allies can relieve some pressure from you. Keep up the good work, I'm totally loving this content so far and thank you for bringing it to us !!
Apollo please use the cav more strategically. You can run them around the enemy lines and charge them into the back of units. The units suffer a harder morale hit and will break easily. Also dont leave them into a charge for too long; hit and run them.
First time commenting on this series. I have been a huge fan of this one! I'm glad you have added as many episodes as you have. Keep up the fun new games!
