You can put the wire you want to twist on the end of a drill and that will braid it up real nice and quick. ADD makes Raptor a frame horn gusset kit that Reinforces the Failure Prone OEM Frame Horn Mounts.
Thanks for that awesome installation, I have a Bronco raptor and I do a lot of offloading in Northern California I also tow A heavily modified off-road teardrop trailer, the problem with my bronco raptor is the back squats a lot and I am running 37 1350 mud terrain tires with method bead grip wheels with I think zero offset, does this lift keep the vehicle level? does the vehicle get a little stiffer? I’m wondering if this will work for towing my trailer my trailer it has a lift kit and tall tires so it will work great with this lift, I’m just trying to figure out the right combination and there’s not much info out there any advice you could give me would be a great help, I thought about running the lower color spacers which basically would give it if I’m correct preload on the springs kind of like a motorcycle would help with the vehicle SAG and statics sake your recommendations? Thanks again for the awesome videos!!!!
Thanks for the kind words. Yes this lift does keep the vehicle level. I would have to look at spring rates for these springs and the stock to know if it would help with towing. The Bronco doesn’t ride a whole lot stiffer so I’m thinking you’re still going to have some squat with your trailer
Coming soon! And yes it’s well worth it. We are trying to schedule another run with my buddy that bought my granite one so we can do more of a side by side comparison. Make sure to subscribe and hopefully we will have it out in the next couple weeks.
Super helpful video, thanks! I’d be really interested in before and after comparison on your suspension build… how is the general ride vs the stock ride quality? What was the actual lift attained from the springs and springs + tires? I’m guessing the flares solve a lot of potential off-road clearance issues, but are you finding any clearance issues under full articulation. I think this would help a number of us, that are trying to find the sweet spot on suspension/tires vs. “achieving a look”.
It’s a lot firmer, more planted and less body roll but we are going to be taking them off again to have them tuned. There’s too much rebound in the front for sure from the factory. We haven’t flexed it yet to be honest with you but we will be testing that out before we go to paint. I’ll get back to you on measurements once we have them
@@deviantracing6129 awesome thanks for the feedback. I’m also curious on the front axle geometry with 2.6” of lift at full droop. I’m not sure how much lift is too much lift for the BRaptor
Also, I noticed you did not reinstall the rear shock covers. Any concerns leaving these off? I ask because my right-rear cover is all bunched up and was condsindering replacing it once my new springs are installed, but am now considering leaving both of them off. You input is appreciated. Thanks.
We don’t run covers on any of stuff, the trophy truck included. They do protect the shafts, but I don’t think this will see nearly enough to warranty the “need” for them. Rarely have to replace the shafts on the race truck and they see WAY more roost than this thing will ever see in a single race
Definitely a good call with going the 7" on the rear ther is something bout the 3" fenders on the rear that made it look funky plus with the 7" you'll get less mud n stuff thrown up on the body from the rears
@@deviantracing6129 no I don't think I would I love to have a little bit of tire stickin out to give it the tough kindof monster truck look plus I'm sure it helps when offroad not to rub any when the wheels clocked all the way over and ur tryin to articulate up and over a boulder
bonjour vidéo sympathique qui montre bien comment changer ou modifié les suspension de son trx qui est un superbe véhicule merci de se partage cordialement
