Can you make a long form video on the insight build with all the parts? There isn’t really a good video on RU-vid explaining all the parts you need and I just picked up an insight that I’m trying to do my first ever engine swap on. (K24) I know about the motor mounts, but what else is needed as far as driveshafts, steering knuckles, etc?
Not boring like a Tesla though. A wise man once said, you can cook steak in a microwave or on a grill, The microwave will be faster and easier to cook, but no one likes the taste of a microwaved steak, it’s tough and bland. Also the teslas you’re comparing both cars to are (dual motor and plaid) 70-100k. The cars on the video would put bus lengths on the cheap 30k base model Tesla most people can afford. The insight probably is a 15k build, and the bmw depending on the year is probably between 20-70k.
@@JGSnipes guess it depends what you think is exciting. Going as fast as possible being the goal for excitement then the fastest option wins. Maybe for you noise and show is more important than go ;-)
I don't do it for show/noise electric cars just feel souless. I had a motorcycle that could do high 9s in the 1/4 and even at low speed around town it felt alive. Even though my 81 camaro is still a little slower than a base model tesla, the tesla will never feel as fun. @@sterlingarcher1962
