Can we use this to implement a controller on physical hardware? I mean let suppose I designed PI controller in simulink and I want to deploy to to physical device using NI DAQ board, does it possible with Simulink external?
Thank U for a nice video on PIL. But I have a doubt that, the controller code deployed in physical controller and plant still present in a virtual environment like Simulink, then there would not be mismatch of the processors running times means physical control would work in real-time while Simulink plant would run in non-real time? What is your comment on it. Thank U.
Think another way. The plant is in the real world and the controller is in a virtual environment. Yes there will be a delay and it depends on how much delay is acceptable as per your need. Also pil is used for testing purposes.
Can you please tell me which application? I saw another video that you have designed on matlab software.. I liked it. But the app you should have on camera.. I am not getting it

Thanks for the video. I'm planning to use my arduino as the controller brain in which the modeled sensory data comes from matlab and the processor hardware sends the actuation response back to Matlab. I guess that's what you're doing as well. I'm just wondering if modelling section of Simulink can be done in matlab. (code generation, etc)

Hi it's your choice. Some people use python and MATLAB both together. So jupyter notebook can support both. And because it can open easily on the browser.
