From what I was told the there both the same engravers initials the difference is the FG is for the wide AMand the other is for the close AM in AMERICA
I also have a 1989 with the 1988 FG. I sent it to PCGS and this is what I got back. "Questionable Color-UNC Detail. Not gradable". Absolutely no mention of the wrong FG and no grade. 😡🤬
So with your 1989 pennies not only should you weigh them to see if they are copper you pay close attention to the engravers initials because definitely there was a machine stamping 1989 pennies with a 1988 die reverse initials of the engraver FG that everybody claims was dismantled and retired by the mint
Now the difference in the 1989 and the 1988 engravers initials is that the 1988 is a small engravers initials in the 1989 is a large initial way fatter and looks more like the Mason G Where the 19 88 looks like a C connected to a L facing backwards connecting to the C together when it comes to the 1988 G on the reverse of the coin
But I will put the mystery to rest in a few weeks when I attend a national coin show and hopefully I can prove that this Penny does exist and get it named after me as a new find. Not to mention it will be one of the highest Lincoln pennies ever sold at auction once it is authenticated
I'm an amateur coin collector I spend hours sometimes with my hobby just looking under the vs microscope and while looking at some 1988 pennies trying to find one with a 1989 engravers initials on a 1988 I saved two of my best 1989 pennies to compare the FG with the 1988. And when I compare the two I found the very opposite of what I was looking for I found a 1989 with a 1988 engravers initials so I went to online to find out what the value possibly could be and I found out that there was no information on this coin that the collectors claimed that there can't be a penny that is just like this because the guy from 1988 was retired by 1989 but. But as we know the Philadelphia and never met always makes mistakes and it because if they didn't make mistakes nobody would be collecting coins. So after reading the information online after someone who had also found one was told that this Penny didn't exist it seems that it does exist because I also have one and there's no way there could be two if they don't exist but if they do exist then there's one two three four five and six but nobody's ever looked for it.because they believed that the government was sufficient and returning the die from 1988 give me a break the government being efficient
The etymology of word Africa is completely irrelevant to the existence of African landmass. Many places are referred by their foreign name. China is a foreign name, the Chinese name for China is Zhōngguó. By your argument that means Chinese civilization doesn’t exist
That's called the ring of death, it's damage that can be caused by the wrapping machine crimpers on each end of roll, it's not valuable, many exist on all denominations,
i think there should be no such thing has a hate crime,,, all crimes are hate to start with ,,, a crime should not be a double crime just because the persons involved are of a different race ,,, crime is a crime no matter who the ppl are
