Brief, well-done and informative clip on duck calls. Enjoyed the interview and talent demonstration. Also, music pairing is nicely done. Should be an entry for the annual Easton Waterfowl Festival.

Very nice. Is it possible to view the actual survey, and it's relationship to the present day site both BEFORE construction began (relative to MD 97 and Brooke Rd.) and presently ?

An interesting video, but the placement of the stone building relative to the streams and Brookeville Rd cannot possibly be correct. I live only a few hundred yards from the stone ruins and I am intimately familiar with them. It appears the "camera" is facing southwest in the opening scene. The stone ruins are considerably further up the hill, at least 100 feet south from Brookeville Rd, and the Reddy stream is even further away - on the OTHER side of the road, near or adjacent to the Nash property. Yes, the road / stream locations could have changed over the past 200 years, but there is no explanation for the sharp and considerable difference in terrain elevation. The stone ruins are considerably higher up the hill and further away from the stream then what is depicted, Also, the location of the intersection of the streams doesn't make any sense. Nonetheless, the "reconstruction" of the buildings themselves is fascinating! And the radial positioning of the stone building relative to Brookeville Rd., Reddy stream, and what would be magnetic north appears to be perfect. Thanks for posting!

Hello Mark. While I'm sure it may be hard to picture, I can assure you that the location of all the items are very accurate. We conducted a detailed survey of the site as it sat when we started the project, as well as layering in multiple sources of other data that all point to the same locations. What is probably throwing you off is the location of the mill race. While it did connect to the stream and provide the water for the mill, it hasn't been connected in our lifetime and is only visible to the trained eye that is specifically looking for it. If you are on site, you can see a small "dent" left in the ground from the race, include the t-section that broke off to power the mill. Have a look at this 3D model of the site (captured at the start of the reconstruction project) and have a look at where everything is located. You can very clearly see the known ruins as well as the few buried locations that go into the reconstruction. I hope this helps you get your bearings at the site! sketchfab.com/models/55965e303122491a823ccf8169880ec9
