at 4:00, one thing i like to say about that, is that here you see sam talking about how the reason for him liking the game so much was matt, in matt's interview, talking about the beginning matt says that he didnt know why someone like sam wanted to continue playing, like he didnt understand what was making sam go back. i dont know why but i always liked that interaction, is actually a shame that we dont have access to the between the sheets videos
When the day comes that we have to say goodbye to these, words cannot express, beautiful people.. I hope stories are told and drinks are poured and other groups of amazing like-minded individuals gather together and play some dungeons and dragons. Not just to go on magnificent adventures but also in remembrance of critical role and what they stood for. I love you all and I'm so happy that in whatever small way I got to be a part of it❤🎉🥂🎉❤
when I tell you I was bawling like a baby....because this group of chaotic beings saved their planet and saved their long lost friend but also gained a powerful (could have been a villian) friend. With legit the power of friendship.
Telling Matt one day he'll say good bye for the last time and seeing him immediately wrench over at the thought was heartbreaking. Matt does an impossible amount for the crew to really sink into and get into their acting, but often at just the right moments Matt does absolutely nothing for minutes at a time just letting the story be told through the flow of the players. Matt is truly one of the greatest DMs there ever was and will be
does anyone know if they've addressed any plans for after campaign 3? i'm catching up to the show currently and there's a few things i've noticed that makes me think they might make c3 their last public campaign. not that they'd stop playing in private or filming content entirely, just that c3 might be the last "big" thing. i'd love to be wrong for now but i was curious to ask, since i've stopped following their social media and idk if i've missed any news
i think my favorite thing about this group is when one of them starts a bit, or starts laughing, the rest of them join in. i've never seen a group of people laugh for as long as they did (marisha especially) during the quiff section of the video 😭💀
laura’s “if i could pull your blood from my veins and give it back to you i would. i want no part of you” changed the way i saw roleplaying in dnd and other ttrpgs. like deadass
i can't get over the fact, that in any of these clips their all pouring their heart into their character while Sam just sits their in another silly costume every time
It is sometimes a daily, but always a weekly, occurrence we’re I remember that one day I will have to say goodbye to Critical Role. And I don’t know what I will do when that day comes, because even just the thought that one member will leave devastates me
I’ve just started CR, watched all of c1 and at episode 70 something of c2… the question of how will you feel when you say by for the last time broke me
This is a truly beautiful and heartwarming compilation - and so lovely to re-live and re-experience all those powerful, uplifting, emotional, hilarious moments we have all been so fortunate to share with the wonderful cast of CR. Thank you!
The way Matt says he hopes to say goodbye on his own terms, you can tell there is something else behind that sentiment. It's like he's just hoping so badly that it'll be a conscious choice they make together and not something they are forced into by unforeseen circumstances.
I've been DMing my own campaign that's 4.5 years old now and truly the greatest fear is that the end will just be a schedule collapse or life event, not an ending.
@@Jeffphuck I'm not even religious but I am hoping and praying that you get to end your campaign in the way that leaves you and your players satisfied. Unfinished business is the worst.
