Feels like it’ll be similar to learning a laser. I first sailed optis, rs fevas, and other boats but the transition from those to the laser was still a big learning curve to get good at the laser. Don’t know if you feel the same about this.
@@jonemmettsailing100% agree learning new boats is great fun. But with foiling the price point is a bit of an issue with growing the fleet, a few friends have bought waszps as they are a bit cheaper than a moth but personally I am a bit unsure about spending that much on a boat that is still going to be secondary to my laser campaign for a while.
I agree with danielt63 (below)-- your windward telltale seems to be streaming most of the time and that tells me (perhaps incorrectly?) that you are NOT pinching???
Please keep the great videos coming Jon, they are great to share with my local clubs members to try and get them engaged more in ILCA sailing at all levels!
Jon, it is very clear as to how much you have enjoyed this event! Best of luck in your final races, fortune favours the bold! Remember to take a bottle of Bundeburg Rum home with you!
